Colonial: Aurora (Ana Alicia)Aurora is a past romantic interest of Lieutenant Starbuck. Starbuck assumes that Aurora was killed on Caprica during the Cylon attack. Much to his surprise however, Aurora has been working on the electronics ship, Celestra, and has been listed in the fleet's computers as a shuttle pilot for Commander Kronus.

Colonial: Cadet Bow (Alex Hyde-White)Bow is a new Viper pilot recruit who is left in command of Cadets Cree and Shields. He is the first to notice a flash of light emanating off Arcta's surface, and is in striking range of the Ravashol pulsar when it kills him. He is only the first of a few casualties of the weapons-deployed Pulsar.
2 4
Colonial: Cadet Cree (Alan Stock)Cadet Cree is a Viper pilot and warrior under Lieutenant Starbuck's guidance. Cree is forced down by three Cylon Raiders upon the ice planet Arcta, home of the Ravashol pulsar. Subsequently a Cylon Centurion foot patrol captures him and a copy of his memory is extracted. Starbuck later finds Cree in a cold cell and saves the cadet before destroying the pulsar.

Colonial: Captain Apollo (Richard Hatch)Galactica's head Viper pilot, leading Blue Squadron in the defense of the rag-tag fugitive fleet. Son of Commander Adama. His sister is Lieutenant Athena and his mother was Ila. Apollo's history has been marred by tragedy. The loss of the Twelve Colonies deprived him of not only his home, but many of his personal relationships. His brother Lieutenant Zac was shot down by a Cylon ambush. Zac's viper was damaged, and Apollo left him behind in order to warn the Galactica of the ambush. His mother Ila was killed in the subsequent Cylon sneak attack. Later on, Apollo married Serina, a reporter-turned-shuttle-pilot who became a reserve Viper pilot. Shortly after their wedding, she was killed by Cylons on Kobol. Apollo then adopted Serina's son, Boxey and became a single father to him.

Colonial: Cassiopeia (Laurette Spang)Cassiopeia is an extremely attractive, level-headed survivor with her own strengths. A tall, slim blonde with blue eyes, she becomes the main love interest of Lieutenant Starbuck. Despite her past as a Socialator, she grows into her role as a Medtech assistant to Dr. Salik.

Colonial: Celestra Security GuardThe personell responsible for guarding and maintaining order aboard the fleets' electronics ship, the Celestra.
2 12
Colonial: Chameleon (Fred Astaire)A charming and aging con man, Chameleon just happens to be Lieutenant Starbuck's father. Chameleon was separated by the Cylon raid at the settlement of Umbra on the planet Caprica. He had been something of a professional wagerer, apparently, due to his vast knowledge of chancery games (which might explain Starbuck's natural fascination with chanceries). However, Chameleon's current occupation is basically making do with his ability to naturally con people out of money.

Colonial: Charka (Nick Holt)Charka is the executive officer of the electronics ship Celestra. He knows how to play all the sides and is knowledgeable in being a manipulative artist as he vies for command of the ship. He presumes he would be able to command the Celestra, with Commander Kronus commanding three other ships as well, however Kronus thinks otherwise and still retains command of the ship. After a thwarted mutiny lead by Damon, Charka begins plotting a way to easily remove Kronus from command and sends the shuttle, along with Captain Apollo, Lieutenant Starbuck and the mutineers away from the Fleet. He sends faulty coordinates for the Fleet to the shuttle and waits until the ship is out of range, hoping that Kronus' death would allow his ascension to commander of the Celestra. However, thanks to the efforts of the Warriors and mutineers, Charka is in for a surprise. The ship is taken from him, and he is arrested for attempts to mutiny against his commander and for murdering him.
2 36
Colonial: Colonel Tigh (Terry Carter)Colonel Tigh is the executive officer of the Battlestar Galactica and is a close personal friend of Commander Adama. Tigh has a no-nonsense demeanor that assures that that the day-to-day operations and efficiency of his Battlestar remain consistent. His friendship with Adama allows Tigh the ability to speak frankly in matters of protocol and defense. A former pilot himself, Tigh is stricter on the younger Colonial Warrior's behavior as he is all too aware of their importance as well as their tendencies (and need) to become rowdy.
3 247
Colonial: Commander Adama (Lorne Greene)Adama is the commander of the Battlestar Galactica, commander of the refugee fleet and military commander of the evacuees of the Twelve Colonies. He is also the spiritual leader of the surviving Colonists, leading the quest for Earth. He has a daughter, Lieutenant Athena and son, Captain Apollo. His wife Ila, and his second son, Lieutenant Zac, are killed in the Cylon attack on the Twelve Colonies. Adama is a native of the planet Caprica, which is where he graduated from military academy. Early in his career he was involved in a parapsychological research project at the Colonial Military Institute. He flew with his executive officer Colonel Tigh in their younger days, and later served as an aide to Commander Kronus aboard Battlestar Rycon. As well as being a career military officer, Commander Adama is also a member of the Council of Twelve, the governing body of the Colonies.
7 695
Colonial: Commander Cain (Lloyd Bridges)Commander Cain is a military leader who attained the status of a living war hero during the latter part of the Thousand Yahren War. Despite his popularity, Cain sometimes fails to live up to his reputation and seems quite unable to accept ideas other than his own. He is stubborn, but evidently knows how to run a military Battlestar and execute a hindering plan against the Cylons.
4 176
Colonial: Commander Kronus (Paul Fix)Commander Kronus is a highly distinguished, career Colonial Military officer who previously commanded the Battlestar Rycon and over 600 offensive-capable spacecraft that comprised of the Fourth Fleet. Under his command, he thwarted a major Cylon offensive at the Battle of Cosmora Archipelago, despite injury and massive suffering. Sometime after the engagement, Adama was his aide; Kronus later remarked that the previous relationship between himself and Adama was better than the one shared after the flight from the Twelve Colonies. Kronus had retired sometime before the pseudo-peace talks ended up in the wholesale slaughter of the Human race, but was returned to active duty to command the electronics ship Celestra.
2 42
Colonial: Council Security GuardCouncil Security is a civilian agency within the Fleet that is responsible for policing, prisons, and other security considerations of the civilians, including the Council of Twelve, yet also seem to act as military police. Much like Colonial Warriors, they are armed with laser pistols and clearly have a presence aboard Galactica, as their uniforms (in later episodes only) of those stationed aboard Galactica bear the ship's insignia, and in an early episode they investigate a petty crime on the ship. Reese is a member of the organization.
2 25
Colonial: Croft (Roy Thinnes)Croft is an honorable man who has been through rough situations that have put him at odds with that which he served. Before being court-martialed by the Colonial Military, he served as commander of an ice garrison on Kalpa, having the advanced skills of a demolition and mountaineering expert. He was married to Leda, who apparently had a love/hate relationship with him; this, according to her, "invites trouble". He was sentenced to the Prison Barge, apparently before it joined the Fleet, for not handing over the spoils of a Cylon-held platinum mine within his sphere of influence. He is selected from Galactica's mainframe for a mission on ice planet Arcta to destroy the deadly Ravashol Pulsar. In return, Commander Adama promises a pardon of all crimes committed before their acceptance of the mission.
2 17
Colonial: Dr. Salik (George Murdock)Dr. Salik, the senior life-sciences officer on the Galactica, is an aging male who had been with the Battlestar prior to the destruction of the Colonies. He has a long and decorated history of abiding to the Hippocratic Oath. His high morals have made himself a logical friend of Commander Adama's for quite some time.
2 96
Colonial: Dr. Wilker (John Dullaghan)Dr. Wilker is experienced in a unique variety of electronic sciences, including but not limited to communications, robotics and computational technologies. Wilker builds and constructs the Muffit II robotic Daggit as a favor to Captain Apollo, programming it for Boxey's visual image that Apollo furnishes him. He had hopes to use the Muffit II as a template for other Daggits to take watch over the Warriors as they rest in situations where they are isolated or on a ground mission.
2 32
Colonial: FirefighterThe brave specialized crew members who are called upon after a Cylon Raider kamikaze attack hit the ship or any other similar dangerous situations occured in order to save the Battlestar with a lot of Boraton and their very lifes.
4 29
Colonial: Flight Sergeant Jolly (Tony Swartz)Flight Sergeant Jolly can be best described as a hefty, jovial, likable fellow; in addition to being a quite competent Viper pilot who serves on the Battlestar Galactica.
3 79
Colonial: Ground CrewThe Ground Crew or Deck Hands are multi-faceted enlisted personnel on Battlestars who prepare and maintain Colonial Vipers and other vehicles for flight and turnaround, as well as assume other maintenance duties throughout the ship. Deck Hands are tasked with keeping the limited number of Vipers ready at all times for patrols and large-scale engagements with Cylon forces.
3 15
Colonial: Honor GuardThe Honor Guard is a group of specially trained Colonial Warriors who formally greet or accompany someone special such as a visiting Commander Cain aboard the Galactica or at extraordinary meetings of the Council of Twelve. Typically they wear the standard beige Colonial Warrior tunic (sometimes with added gold braids that run diagonally above the left and right breast of the tunic) and pants, a brown dress uniform belt and gloves with a gold trimming near the glove's gauntlet opening. They're also armed with laser pistols on several occasions.
2 15
Colonial: Lieutenant Athena (Maren Jensen)Athena is the daughter of Commander Adama and sister of Captain Apollo. She serves primarily as an officer in Core Command, manning a scanner.
7 167
Colonial: Lieutenant Bojay (Jack Stauffer)Lieutenant Bojay is a Viper pilot in the Colonial Fleet, holding the rank of a Lieutenant. He was attached as a Viper pilot aboard the Galactica before being transferred to the Pegasus and the Fifth Fleet two yahren prior to the Battle of Cimtar. As with the rest of the Pegasus crew, Bojay is believed to have died at the Battle of Molecay. Instead, Commander Cain's undertook the unorthodox maneuver to take an indirect route to the Colonies, believing that the Cylons were lined up between Molecay and the Colonies. Apparently typical of the Pegasus crew, Bojay finds offensive strikes to be as easy as breathing, and worships Cain as a "living legend". Ever since, he has participated in attacks on Gamoray, thwarting the Cylons' plans to make it the center of their "outer capital" and raiding it for fuel and other supplies.
2 41
Colonial: Lieutenant Boomer (Herbert Jefferson, Jr.)Lieutenant Boomer is a reserved, thoughtful and loyal survivor of the Cylon's wholesale slaughter of humanity. He became a Viper pilot attached to the Galactica sometime after his tours of duty on planets. Boomer seems the antithesis of his closest friend, Lieutenant Starbuck, and tends to think more logically. However, like Starbuck, Boomer is also a consummate Viper pilot, willing to risk his life for friend and innocent.
6 313
Colonial: Lieutenant Deitra (Sheila DeWindt)Lieutenant Deitra is one of the many shuttle pilots that were turned into Viper pilots during the Viper corps crisis. She proved herself to be a capable pilot during the Battle of Kobol and was present when the Cylons on Kobol mortally wounded Captain Apollo's bride, Serina.
2 19
Colonial: Lieutenant Sheba (Anne Lockhart)Lieutenant Sheba is a Viper pilot on the Battlestar Pegasus, who is transferred to the Galactica after the apparent loss of the Pegasus. She is the daughter of Pegasus's commander, Cain.
5 187
Colonial: Lieutenant Starbuck (Dirk Benedict)Lieutenant Starbuck was born on Caprica in the agro settlement of Umbra and was orphaned when a Cylon raid destroyed the settlement. He became one of Galactica's finest Viper pilots. A passionate gambler, womanizer and smoker of "fumarellos" (cigars). He is involved with Lieutenant Athena and Cassiopeia and best friend of Captain Apollo.
10 813
Colonial: Lieutenant Zac (Rick Springfield)Lieutenant Zac is an inexperienced Colonial Warrior and Viper pilot assigned to the Galactica, which is commanded by his father, Commander Adama. He is the youngest of Adama's and Ila's children; his older siblings, Captain Apollo and Lieutenant Athena, are also assigned to the Galactica. Despite the lack of experience, Zac has received high marks at the academy, which outstripped even his father's. Zac works with Lieutenant Starbuck to convince his brother, Apollo, that Starbuck was too ill to go on patrol, suggesting that Zac take patrol instead. Apollo sees through the ruse and allows Zac to come anyway. On patrol with his brother as Blue Flight Two, Apollo discovers several Cylon tankers within a cloud body near the lunar body of Cimtar, which soon leads to a fight with Cylon Raiders. Zac's Viper is damaged and unable to keep up with his brother. Zac encourages Apollo to go ahead to warn the Battlestar fleet of the massive Cylon fighter squadron. His fighter falls behind as he is chased by the Cylons. While in sight of the Battlestar fleet but with no Vipers scrambled to assist, despite Commander Adama's pleas for fleet defensive measures to President Adar, Zac's Viper is destroyed. This makes him the first known casualty of the decisive, genocidal attack on the Twelve Colonies.
3 25
Colonial: Muffit II (Evolution a.k.a. "Evie" the Chimp)Muffit is the name of both Boxey's Daggit and, later, a robotic drone created by Dr. Wilker called Muffit II. The original, living Muffit is killed by falling debris in a major city on Caprica during the Cylon sneak attack. Boxey mourns for Muffit on the Rising Star, refusing to eat as a result. To ease Boxey's emotional suffering, his future stepfather Captain Apollo asks Dr. Wilker to furnish a prototype robotic daggit, called Muffit II. As no Daggits have survived the sneak attack, there is a genuine need for replacement Daggits, as they had played numerous roles in Colonial society, including that of domesticated pet, watch animal, and tracker. In order to train Muffit II, Wilker scans an image of Boxey into its circuits for imprinting purposes, thus allowing Boxey to train the drone.
13 236
Colonial: President Adar (Lew Ayres)Adar is President of the Colonies, leader of the Council at the time of the decimation of the Twelve Colonies of Man, as well as commander of the Battlestar Atlantia. Baltar deceives him into embracing the façade of a forthcoming peace with the Cylon Empire. Adar holds back his guard despite repeated warnings from Commander Adama on the Galactica, who warns of possible Cylon treachery. As a result, only Galactica is prepared sufficiently to fight off a massive Cylon Raider force that attacks the unprepared Colonial fleet. Adar laments, too late, on the horrific discovery that the peace effort was all a front for the Cylon's final strike against humanity. Adar perishes when Cylon Raiders attack the unprepared Atlantia at Cimtar, destroying all other Battlestars at the conference, save Galactica.
2 22
Colonial: Sergeant Omega (David Greenan)Sergeant Omega hails from Sagitara and is a long-time core command crewmember of the Battlestar Galactica. Omega's task is more like that of an operations manager and seems to have some way of reporting dire news in a consistent fashion to Colonel Tigh and Commander Adama.
4 85
Colonial: Serina (Jane Seymour)Serina is a survivor of the Cylon holocaust upon the Twelve Colonies. Originally a Colonial reporter based on Caprica, Serina was present at the main hub of celebration for the pseudo-peace treaty between the Cylons and the Colonials. With her son Boxey (whose father perished in the Cylon onslaught), she became one of the mere thousands who were saved by the rescue efforts of Commander Adama and his Battlestar, Galactica.
4 125
Colonial: Sire Anton (Wilfrid Hyde-White)Sire Anton is a member of the newly elected Council created after the Cylon holocaust. When the Galactica and the Fleet travel to the planet Carillon, Anton supports the actions of Sire Uri along with other Council members - Commander Adama excluded.
2 8
Colonial: Sire Solon (Brock Peters)Sire Solon is the Fleet's Chief Opposer, or prosecuting opposition who attempts to confirm Lieutenant Starbuck's guilt in the termination of the widely disliked Flight Sergeant Ortega. Solon seems quite certain that Starbuck is guilty, as everything appears to add up. Cassiopeia and Solon, at different times during the trial, attempt to get Starbuck to plead that Ortega's death was the result of self-defense, given that Ortega's weapon was drawn. However, Starbuck chooses not to accept the plea. A self-defense plea would boot him from the military just as would a life-sentence. Testimony about the crime overheard from Karibdis (alias Pallon) proves Starbuck's innocence in the matter. Solon takes the loss professionally.
4 21
Colonial: Sire Uri (Ray Milland)Once an honorable member of the Council prior to its obliteration by the Cylons, Sire Uri degraded into moral indecency, becoming a vestige of the man he once was. Commander Adama thought highly of the man, as he was a thoughtful and moral spirit during his early days. However, power and fame have corrupted his moral and ethical standings, as well as physical appearance.

Colonial: Wolfe (Richard Lynch)Wolfe is one of the prisoners that enrolls in Captain Apollo's expedition to destroy the Ravashol pulsar on Arcta. He likes no one, and is liked by no one. However, he can get the job done and is aggressive in doing so. Wolfe isn't strongly inclined to the matters concerning the intellectual or social aspects of himself, but is devious and can attain information. He manages to liberate Vickers' laser pistol from the injured and barely conscious warrior. Sparring with Haals, Wolfe "accidentally" fires off the laser pistol, rendering the snowram's power unit unusable. Wolfe later uses the gun to threaten Apollo's life in order to get to the Cylon Raiders atop of Mount Hekla, as informed by a Theta. He attempts to escape with Leda, however Croft relieves Wolfe of his weapon. Wolfe flees into the snow, his fate unknown.

Cylon: Baltar (John Colicos)Baltar has a relatively prolific life as a member of the Council of the Twelve, the ruling body of the Colonies. He apparently financed and plotted many expeditions of the Cyranus Galaxy during the Thousand Yahren War. These surveys and expeditions also included the tylium-rich planet of Carillon, though the fact was never revealed as in reports to the Council. For many yahren, Baltar apparently plotted to use the Cylons as his iron fist to bring down the Colonies under his dictatorship. Using the Cimtar Peace Accord as a ruse (taking advantage of both Colonials and Cylons), he manages to work up the humans' excitement for the Treaty as well as give the Cylons what they want: The eradication of the threat of the lifeform known as Man. The Cylons take the opportunity. However, the Cylons simply consider Baltar a pawn to be used up once moved. His plans for domination destroyed, Baltar is thanked by the Imperious Leader by scheduling him for public execution. The new Imperious Leader spares Baltar's disheveled life to seek the Human remnant that escapes the destruction of the Twelve Colonies.

Cylon: Carillon Garrison LeaderBefore the concept of the golden Command Centurions was developed, higher-ranked Centurions were distinguished from standard Centurions by special rank insignias located on the front cap of the backpack and the upper section of the chestplate.

This concept was only used once for the Centurion who commanded the Cylon garrison on the planet Gamoray in the pilot episode "Saga of a Star World".
3 19
Cylon: CenturionThe Centurion is the workhorse of the Cylon Empire. Acting as infantry and pilot, the Centurion is as versatile as it is shiny. Used in any front-line encounter, Centurions are the only type of Cylon a Colonial Warrior is likely to ever directly encounter. Centurions speak with a mechanical voice, typically responding to orders with the iconic phrase "By your command". Despite their name, they are the Cylons' lowest ranking soldiers, answerable to Command Centurions and IL-Series Cylons. Centurions are constructed using highly advanced robotics, beyond the capabilities of the Colonials to understand easily. Centurions are commonly armed with bayonet-equipped laser rifles as well as swords for close combat and execution.

Cylon: CivilianCivilians are present at non-military locations. They fill the day-to-day support roles that the rest of the Cylons need accomplished in order to keep the Empire a well-oiled machine. They wear gold- or orange-colored hooded robes, with their only apparent robotic features being their faces.
8 94
Cylon: Command CenturionCommand Centurions typically command Basestars and military outposts. Command are visually distinguished from regular Centurions by their gold plated armor. The voices of Command Centurions are known to have a lower pitch than the typical Centurion.
10 125
Cylon: Gamoray IL-SeriesIL-Series Cylons take on the duties to maintain the non-military aspects of the Cylon Empire, typically commanding outposts and Basestars on important missions for the Empire. Unlike the Centurion, they have two eyes, similar in proportion to the eyes of humans, as well as a less-robotic monotone, yet harmonious male voice. They also express emotion, after a fashion, such as jealousy, power lust, and even laughter. The Imperious Leader is promoted from the ranks of the IL-Group. One uniform trait of the IL-Series is their ability for logical thought, though this is at times subdued over the desire for power in the Cylon hierarchy.

Two unnamed IL-Series Cylons are seen milling about at the dedication ceremony on Gamoray.
8 68
Cylon: Imperious Leader (Dick Durock (Costume), Patrick Macnee (Voice))The Imperious Leader is the highest authority of the Cylon Empire. There is only one Imperious Leader, although there are others to replace him should the Cylon succumb to destruction. Their potential replacements are called IL-Series Cylons and are typically the politicians or viceroys of the Cylon Empire.
17 235
Cylon: Lucifer (Felix Silla (Costume), Jonathan Harris (Voice))Lucifer is the IL-Series Cylon attached to Baltar, who is assigned to seek out the Colonial Fleet and destroy them. He initially presumes that he will learn much from the human who betrayed his own race. Baltar and Lucifer demonstrate from the beginning of their relationship a drastically different way of thinking. Lucifer appears to have a very good grasp of strategy and tactics, yet he is unable anticipate Baltar's orders. Lucifer at first views this unpredictability as an asset, and is eager to observe Baltar. He is curious to see how Baltar reacts when the Galactica ends up behaving in a way that neither of them seem to have anticipated, and is delighted to study under so devious a specimen. Lucifer grows impatient with Baltar's games very quickly, and seizes command of the Basestar when Baltar goes to Kobol to try to lure the Colonials with promises of peace. He orders an attack on the Colonial forces, inadvertently freeing Commander Adama, Captain Apollo and Serina as well as trapping Baltar beneath a fallen stone inside the tomb of the 9th Lord of Kobol. Lucifer also has a clear and present distrust of Specter and attempts to convince Baltar of the problems Specter has. When Baltar decides to seek out the Galactica, Lucifer questions that the humans would accept Baltar's offer of alliance, yet he doesn't attempt to prevent Baltar from going on his foolish expedition, indicating that he isn't all that disappointed to have Baltar gone.

Cylon: Red Eye (Rex Cutter)"Red Eye" is the name given to the only surviving Centurion that crash-landed on Equellus in a Raider. Lacerta discovers the damaged Cylon in the wreckage of its ship and uses the Centurion to terrorize the local towns people for nine yahrens. Apparently having suffered some scrambled circuits during the crash, Red Eye follows Lacerta due to its belief that Lacerta is the Imperious Leader. Red Eye obtained a Colonial laser pistol by murdering a marooned Colonial Warrior known as Martin, who had arrived some time previously and who attacked the Cylon on sight. Martin was the father of Puppis and husband of Vella, a local. Red Eye's armored exterior was proof against any Numo, the only weapon available to the natives of Equellus. When Captain Apollo encounters him, the Centurion has numerous dents from previous attempts to destroy him, none of which had seriously damaged him. Red Eye's eye scanner makes a sound distinctly different from that of most Centurions, perhaps again due to damage it suffered in the original crash. Under Lacerta, Red Eye appropriates "tribute" (i.e., livestock, food, valuables) from the townspeople in exchange for their lives. Lacerta's reign of terror ends after Apollo is forced to land on the planet. At first, Apollo refuses to act against Red Eye, believing that more Cylons might be present on the planet. He eventually destroys the Cylon after he hears the story of Red Eye's origin and realizes he's alone. In total, 10 people die at Red Eye's hand, including Bootes, Puppis' uncle.

Cylon: ReptilianThe original, organic Cylons who invented the deadly machines to fulfill their goal of galactic conquest. Ultimately, the hunters became the hunted when their own creations turned against them by fulfilling their only known programming: "Extermination".
3 12
Cylon: Specter (Bobby Porter (Costume), Murray Matheson (Voice))Specter, an older IL-Series Cylon, demonstrates despicable traits of (and including) thievery, dishonesty and deceptiveness. His forces manage to occupy the entire marsh-like planet of Attila in record time, but is constantly attacked by Megan's children - Kyle, Miri, Ariadne, Nilz and Robus. When Lieutenant Starbuck is forced into a controlled crash-landing on Atilla, he is almost taken to Specter, however the family-turned-military force waylays the Cylon force. Specter manages to mislead Baltar into believing that they had managed to capture the Colonial Warrior, who he conveniently leaves nameless. As attempts to get the Warrior by force remain fruitless, an agreement is arranged by Kyle to trade Megan's life for Starbuck's. Specter attempts to deceive Megan's children by floating a manufactured dummy while the children send over the same in place of Starbuck. This forces Specter to continue leading Baltar upon a string. Lucifer, Baltar's newer IL-Series cogitator, despises the lower grade Cylon and attempts to undermine Specter's attempts to curry Baltar's favor. Lucifer manages to come across uncomplimentary requisition orders for additional war material, even though the planet is supposedly under complete control. Specter manages to, yet again, mislead Baltar, and even compel Baltar to sympathize for the Cylon's plight on Atilla; the Cylons do not fare well on marsh planets due to oxidation. After a successful and embarrassing attack by Megan's children and Starbuck, Specter again deceives Baltar into believing, not that the garrison had come under attack, but that the commotion was due to his Cylons destroying "the last of the human habitations." Specter manages to secure a place aboard Baltar's Basestar so that he can later be reassigned wherever the Imperious Leader needed such experienced hands.

Cylon: VulpaVulpa is a Command Centurion commanding the Ravashol pulsar, a large energy-based weapon on the ice planet Arcta which becomes a lethal danger to the Colonial Fleet. Detecting the rag-tag fugitive fleet, Vulpa tasks his pilots with the abduction of a Colonial Warrior from the Galactica. Forcing the cadet to crash land on the surface of Arcta, these pilots manage to return with Cadet Cree, whom he interrogates. As he suspects that Cree has provided misinformation during his interrogation, Vulpa subjects him to a brain probe, and has Cree thrown into a cold cell. During the assault on the pulsar and the Cylons' garrison, Vulpa enters the pulsar firing station and kills Leda. After this act, Vulpa is subsequently destroyed by Lieutenant Starbuck.

Other: Beings of LightThe Beings of Light are a mysterious race that travel using the Ship of Lights. Called angels by the primitive people on Kobol, these creatures helped them develop the civilization that would become the Twelve Colonies.

Apparently mistakes were made in the past by these advanced beings, as they seem reluctant to interfere directly with the Colonials or the Terrans. They help Captain Apollo and the Battlestar Galactica save the Terrans from themselves.

Count Iblis is a fallen member of this race, who has chosen to use his powers for darker purposes.
2 18
Other: BorayBorays are boar-like sentient creatures that inhabit the planet Sectar. While the Borays originally were an agrarian race, they find that it is easier to take what they wish from the humans at the Serenity settlement during full moons, rather than raising the crops themselves. Led by Nogow, the Borays return to their farming ways after their leader becomes the constable of Serenity.

Other: Count Iblis (Patrick Macnee)Count Iblis is a man and a mystery. Is he the savior of the fleet - and can prepare their way to Earth? Or is he a manifestation of evil itself ready to take dominion over the souls of the fleet…!? Baltar recognizes Iblis' voice - as the voice of the Cylon Imperious Leader, but how could that be? He would have to be over a thousand yahrens old for his voice to have been transcribed into the Cylons' Imperious Leader. Who is he? Where is he from? Beware - he will try to use his powers to influence himself almost into the Presidency!

Other: Dr. Ravashol (Dan O'Herlihy)Dr. Ravashol is a genetic and electronic scientist/inventor based on the ice planet of Arcta. The scientist is the "father/creator" of the Theta class lifeforms (all clone-like) as well as the progenitor of the Ravashol Pulsar, which was originally intended to transmit information via laser energy. The Cylons allowed him to continue to live so that he can produce more technological marvels in the form of war materiel. While he understood that the Cylons were "misusing" the pulsar, he had no idea that his biological creations were breeding. He had not planned this to happen, and eventually realizes that he must help out Captain Apollo's team remove the pulsar. Once the pulsar was obliterated, Ravashol worked with his children, having other methods at his disposal to protect them.

Other: Eastern Alliance SoldierThe enforcers of the dangerous Eastern Alliance, a fascist party committed to the complete rule of Terra and her colonies. The Eastern Alliance not only believes that it is the strongest force in the galaxy, but also that it has a manifest destiny to rule all life in the universe, a task they were "created" for.
3 31
Other: Farnes (Rance Howard)Farnes is Serenity's last constable to die in a vain show of force to the boar-humanoid Borays. Before meeting terminus, he is given a short, obviously rehashed lecture from Sire Bogan about cowards and duty.
3 15
Other: Kyle (Charles Bloom)Kyle, the eldest son of Megan who survived the Cylon's occupation of Atilla, leads his siblings in the Cylon resistance. In one of these attacks against the so-called "tin cans", Kyle and his clan rescues Lieutenant Starbuck from a Cylon patrol and treat his injuries. He later finds the Warrior to be a threat to his power and in a burst of jealousy decides that Starbuck would be traded for Megan. He orders his sister Miri to place the message inside the Cylon-occupied castle while Specter, the IL-Series Cylon in charge, agrees to the proposal. Kyle and the adolescents are persuaded by Starbuck at the last moment that the Cylons can't be trusted; when Starbuck is proven right, Kyle cedes leadership of the small army of children to Starbuck, with Kyle becoming the second-in-command. He, along with Starbuck and his brothers and sisters, plans the rescue mission which eventually frees Megan and drives the Cylons from their homeworld.

Other: Maga (Lance LeGault)Maga is the leader of the two other Borellian Nomen on a blood trail for the human Chameleon, who pretended to be Captain Dimitri of the Livestock Ship. He is the elder of the trio of Nomen, and dedicated to the inscrutable life of "The Code". As with all Nomen, he is not fond of other humans, and believes that Nomen are the true humans. As they proceed after their prey, Taba brings dishonor to them by prematurely drawing his laser bola. Maga excuses the actions as excitement and drink, however Taba dishonors him again in the waiting bay of the Rising Star; Maga disowns the young Nomen and permits the Warriors to apprehend him. Sometime after in the vacant waiting area, Maga clarifies his reasoning to Bora, who "sought enlightenment". Maga and Bora, inspired by Omega's advertisement for new Colonial Warriors, act as recruits to get aboard the Galactica. After incapacitating Corporal Lomas, they manage to square off with Lieutenant Starbuck, whom they believe is alone. However, their prey, Chameleon, manages to fire the Viper's lasers into the launch tube they enter. Despite the deadly energy expended, Maga miraculously survives with his accomplice, Bora - both of whom later join Taba on the Prison Barge. Although not privy to the ideas of Baltar when the Eastern Alliance soldiers were aboard the Barge, Maga listens with interest to the plan. Accepting only after Baltar agrees he wouldn't be their leader, as Baltar's record to date does not "inspire confidence", Maga says that the Nomen would "temporarily die". Baltar, as any person would have, questions the statement. However, Maga replies: "We do many things to survive, even die." The Nomen, after returning to their cells, suddenly collapse one by one. Although the rest are locked up in their cells, Maga springs to life and, along with the other two Nomen, quickly incapacitate the Council Security Barge guards. Maga explains to an astonished Baltar that their reflexes have slowed due to their incarceration, but would recover with time. After taking the shuttle and its pilots, Lieutenants Boomer and Sheba, hostage, they fly to the Galactica. Maga, Baltar, and the two Nomen attempt to make way to the bridge, however are prevented by Captain Apollo and Lieutenant Starbuck. Although Baltar attempts to convince Adama that he would not harm the hostages, Maga thinks he is a fool, as does the freed Commandant Leiter. Maga escapes along with Leiter's men onboard the Eastern Alliance Destroyer.

Other: Miri (Audrey Landers)Miri is the oldest daughter of Megan, the most level-headed one in the family. The beautiful, maturing woman on the planet Attila assumes the role of mother to her younger siblings, necessitated by her mother's death at Cylon hands. When not caring for the younger children or keeping elder brother Kyle under control, she fights the "tin cans" fairly often, riding on unicorn-like creatures. When Lieutenant Starbuck crash-lands on the planet, she and her siblings manage to liberate and take care of the injured Warrior.

Other: OvionThe insectoid, six-limbed Ovions are part of the Cylon Alliance. They lay an enticing trap for humans on the planet Carillon by building a wonderland of free-flowing food and alcohol, luxury hotels and gambling dens where everybody wins. That is, until an elevator takes them down to the subterranean depths where they are processed into Ovion chow.

Other: Proteus EnforcerThe Proteus Enforcers are the guards in charge of overseeing the prisoners of the Proteus prison planetoid. The Enforcers are the descendants of the original prison guards (just as the prisoners are the descendants of the original prisoners). The generations of status quo left the Enforcers with little actual training, since the prisoners stay in their cells voluntarily. The Enforcers mainly serve to distribute and store the Ambrosa produced by the prisoners.

Other: Robber (James Whitmore, Jr.)Robber is an ambrosa smuggler. He hijacks Lieutenant Starbuck's Recon Viper 1 for the purposes of traveling to the merchant colony Aeries, after fleeing the clutches of Croad, an Enforcer from the Proteus prison colony. Unbeknownst to Robber, the planet he is contacting is in Cylon hands and Lieutenant Boomer and Captain Apollo are subsequently dispatched to deal with it before the Cylons can track the signal. Their mission is aborted after Cassiopeia deciphers it as an Aeries merchant code. After a brief firefight staged on a planetoid in a vacant settlement, Robber gives himself up after Boomer comes across his wife, Slayer, and daughter Tanya. Upon obtaining similar knowledge of Proteus that Starbuck already possesses, Apollo, Boomer and Robber are forced into going back to that very same planetoid. While the reconnaissance fighter is subsequently recovered along with its hijacker, the stop to Proteus is the only choice since the fleet changes course. After the defeat of the trio of Cylon Raiders and the freeing of the Proteus descendants of the Original Sinners and Enforcers, Robber and his family join up with the Fleet with a warm welcome from Commander Adama.

Other: Ser 5-9 (Denny Miller)Ser 5-9, an abbreviated form of Series 5, Culture 9, is a Theta-class life-form on Arcta. While classified as a worker clone, Ser demonstrates acts of compassion, courage and level-headedness, and is inspired to rebel against Vulpa's Cylons. He assists in the recovery of the Galactica expedition who had survived death point thanks to Muffit II. After their rescue, he leads the Galactica's crew to the Cylon-dominated underground city, secreting Boxey and his Daggit with the Theta children. Upon Captain Apollo's instance, Ser leads Apollo to the "Father/Creator", Dr. Ravashol. When Ravashol initially claims that the pulsar is manned by Thetas, Ser respectfully informs Ravashol that any Theta approaching the pulsar was whipped. During this conversation, a contingent of Cylon Centurions interrupt to perform an inspection; Ser hides Apollo in a research computer stack and allows himself to be captured. Since Planners are only permitted in the laboratory areas, his discovery leads to Ser's punishment via whipping, in spite of Ravashol's claims that he needed someone to do heavy work on short notice. Despite Ser's apparent willingness to aid the Colonials, he is against destroying the pulsar, as it was the only means to defend themselves against the Cylons. It takes Ravashol to convince him that they must help the surviving Colonials by destroying the pulsar. Once convinced, Ser leads Apollo, Wolfe, Croft and Leda to the top of the mountain where the pulsar is housed. In the attempt, he is injured by an avalanche leaving him unable to lead, though he is able to inform the Colonials on how to enter the pulsar via the air intake vent.

Other: Tenna (Britt Ekland)Tenna is a strikingly beautiful female Theta created by Dr. Ravashol. Tenna assists Lieutenant Starbuck in finding Thane, who died. She also informs Starbuck that the Thetas plan to stop Captain Apollo and his team from destroying the pulsar, which they believe to be their only means for defense. She aids Starbuck's break-in of the Cylon garrison's brig, freeing Cree from his cold cell. Before he returns to the fleet, Starbuck apparently attempts to charm three other Tennas.

Other: Terran ChildrenCharity (Michelle Larson): Charity is the daughter of Sarah Fowler. Unable to go to Terra due to genetic tampering by the Terran government, she is predisposed to atmospheres of lower pressure. When the android Hector mistakes Lieutenant Starbuck for Charity; he learns of his error by the scolding of Vector. Charity is instrumental in getting Melanie and Todd away from the Eastern Alliance enforcers lead by Commandant Leiter, and soliciting the assistance of the Morelands.

Melanie (Gillian Greene): Melanie is the only daughter of Michael, born to the Lunar colonies of Terra. Melanie is unable to live on Terra due to her inability to breathe in high-pressure atmospheres, a genetic trait handed down by her father. Although her mother is unknown, indications are that she died at the hands of the Eastern Alliance. With her father, Sarah Fowler and her own children, they move to Paradeen and settle there with the help of their once-resistant neighbors of this planet.

Todd (G. Eric Larson): Todd is the second oldest child of Sarah Fowler, evidently fond of animals such as stock horses. He is one of the children that looked for help from the Morelands on Paradeen.

Walker (D. G. Larson): Walker, also known as "Baby Walker", is the youngest of Sarah Fowler's children who are unable to live on Terra due to its atmospheric pressures. He has to remain on Paradeen or similar planets for the rest of his life. The baby is in the house when Commandant Leiter of the Eastern Alliance and his men demand to know where the two advanced Viper craft and its pilots are. The child is used as leverage against Sarah.

Other: Tucana / Android SistersThe Tucana singers are entertainers who perform at the chancery at Carillon and were encountered by Lieutenant Starbuck and Lieutenant Boomer. Tucanas are mainly humanoid in appearance, though are four-eyed and two-mouthed. The lower mouth is capable of generating a low-pitch capable of breaking glass if sustained for a long period of time.

Other: Vector (Ray Bolger)Vector is an android created by John Russel Fowler to aid him in the maintenance of his Paradeen residence. Vector consequently built Hector from "spare parts" to aid him in building the residence for Sarah Fowler, Michael and the children. Vector continually berates Hector for errors in judgment and seems to be the more cantankerous yet level-headed of the two androids. Apparently knowledgeable about Terra, Vector attempts to perform a piece from the Royal Theater of Terra, an event interdicted by Sarah. After the encounter with the Eastern Alliance, she relents, permitting Hector and Vector to put on a show for the children.
