 | Battlestar GalacticaFar across the galaxy, twelve worlds shine with the light of humanity, but those lights are shrouded by the shadows of war. For a millennium the evil Cylon Empire has had an imperial order - Exterminate all humans! In answer to this threat, the twelve colonies put their trust in massive 2000 foot long carrier type spacecraft called Battlestars. Each Battlestar is a command center form which squadrons of Viper type fighter interceptors may be launched from the twenty launching tubes located on each of the outer sides of its twin launch and recovery bays. Shuttles and returning Vipers access these flight decks from a landing port in the rear of each bay.
Besides fighter craft, the mighty Battlestar carries an impressive array of defensive turbolaser turrets and missiles, yet even the best defenses may fall to subterfuge. In the seventh millennium the Cylon Empire launched a surprise attack during an armistice and wiped out the Colonial home worlds and almost the Colonial fleet. First destroyed was the flagship Atlantia. The Pegasus escaped, but was lost in deep space. While the Pacifica, Triton and Rycon fought their desperate final battle, only Commander Adama and the Battlestar Galactica were able to save a handful of refugee ships and lead them away from destruction. Together they flee the Cylon forces and search the stars for the lost thirteenth colony, a planet called Earth.

 | Colonial ViperStarbuck, Apollo, Boomer, these are a few names of the pilots who have become famous for their exploits in the hottest fighter of the Colonial fleet - the Viper. A twenty nine foot long single seat interceptor, it is the backbone of defense for the Twelve Colonies of Humanity. Carried through the vastness of deep space aboard enormous carrier ships called Battlestars, the Viper is meant to stay somewhat near its base of operations. Missions may include reconnaissance around the fleet, planetary landings or seek and destroy. Packing two high-powered turbo-lasers capable of taking out a Cylon Raider in one hit, the Viper is further advantaged by an optional turbo-thruster on its engines. Once engaged, the turbo-thruster makes the Viper the fastest thing in the sky, leaving a bright white plume of exhaust and a blur. Unfortunately, this option also uses a great deal of fuel and must be used wisely. Wing stabilizers and atmospheric jet intakes make the Viper especially well suited to combat in the skies of any world where the design has been proven time and time again. |

 | Cylon BasestarFar away, in a remote corner of the galaxy, stretches the evil empire of the machine creatures called Cylons. Once reptilian in form, the Cylons emulated the cold logic and effectiveness of machines and so placed their minds into mechanical bodies. Now pure machine, the Cylons find no tolerance for the organic races which love freedom, independence and inefficient feelings. The most alien to them are the humans, and so for them the Imperious Leader has given a standard order - "Exterminate!" Powerful and belligerent, the Cylons have built a fleet of enormous and powerful Basestars to carry their legions. Each of these carrier type craft bears a complement of three hundred Raider type fighters, two long range mega-pulsar cannons and over a hundred defensive laser turrets. The Basestar is so formidable that it is considered to be more than a match for a lone Battlestar or even defenses of an entire planet. |

 | Cylon RaiderThe Raider is the primary attack craft of the evil Cylon Empire. With its sleek, low profile it is a narrow target from the front, back and sides. Its streamlined manta-ray shape combined with a pair of heavy laser cannons make it a nimble atmospheric fighter with devastating attack abilities.
The Raider is six feet long and thirty feet wide with a crew off three Centurion type robot warriors who act as a team. In space, typical Cylon tactics involve units of three Raiders arranged with other units in triangular flight patterns maximizing firepower. The favored Cylon tactic is to overwhelm an opponent with numbers. |
