Colonial: Captain Paulus Magus (Wally Wingert (Voice))Captain Paulus Magus is the son of Commander Bryn Magus, brother of Lieutenant Iphigenia Magus and wingman to Lieutenant William Adama.

Like his sister, Paulus was born in the city of Petaville on Caprica. During his service with William Adama, at the age of 27 he holds the rank of Captain and commanded Blue Flight aboard the Battlestar Galactica.

A serious and intelligent man, Paulus is the eldest child of Commander Magus and big brother to Iphigenia. He is the mirror of his father at the same age, very much a straight arrow, cool and calculating, and never one to make a hasty decision or rush into a situation without a plan. Most observers believe that Paulus is set to follow in his father’s footsteps, perhaps to command a battlestar of his own some day.

Paulus' callsign is "Ghost" and his Viper designation is Blue Leader.

Colonial: Colonel Jen Kassia (Alyson Reed (Voice))Colonel Jen Kassia is Galactica's XO, stationed aboard during her tour in the long-running Cylon War. She is always looking out for the young Viper pilot, William Adama.

A tough, non-nonsense woman, Kassia has never known anything other than military life. She was born aboard the Orion in Tauran space, with a hard childhood spent on the New Caprica colony. Her youth was marred by the capture of her lover Callisto during a Cylon raid, and the incident affected her deeply; Callisto's body was taken for bio-mass processing in Cylon hybridization experiments and never recovered.

Kassia's harsh early life has given her a personality that is reflected in her former callsign, "Hardcase". She lives for the here and now, mindful that during war, death is always lurking nearby.

After the capture of Commander Bryn Magus by Cylon forces, Kassia briefly assumes direct command of the Galactica.

Colonial: Commander Bryn Magus (Kristoffer Tabori (Voice))Bryn Magus is the commander of the Battlestar Galactica, father of Iphigenia and Paulus, and a father-figure to Lieutenant William Adama. Some time prior to the Cylon War, Adama's father often saved Magus' life; when Adama was orphaned, Magus looked after the boy as part of his debt to the elder Adama, later welcoming him onboard the Galactica when he graduated from flight school.

Magus subsequently spent a year as a prisoner-of-war on a the Cylon penal world of Ixion before being rescued by the crew of the battleship Perseus. Since then, Magus feels a duty to protect the younger Adama in memory of his best friend. Rising to the command of the Galactica, Magus is one of the most decorated Colonial officers of his age.

Commander Magus was born on Aerilon in the Cyan Province. During his years as a fighter pilot, his callsign was "Hawk".

During the course of the game, Magus is abducted by Cylon forces, converted into a half-human, half-Cylon agent, and turned against his own people.

Colonial: Lieutenant Garris Cain (Mack Greenlaw (Voice))Lieutenant Garris Cain is a Viper pilot stationed on the Battlestar Galactica during the opening of the Cylon War, where he is a wingman of Lieutenat William Adama.

An exceptional pilot with an ego to match, Lieutenant Cain saw himself as the undisputed Ace aboard the Galactica, with the best kill ratios and performance ratings. He was risk-taker and a hothead, quick to anger and slow to forgive, always ready to seize the moment rather than waiting for the right situation. In any other flyer, his rule bending would have earned him a demotion, but he was a natural pilot and his fantastic ability made Cain a valuable - if unorthodox - wingman.

Lieutenant Cain was 23 years old during his service in Captain Magus' Blue Wing, flying under the callsign "Renegade" and Viper designation Blue Three. He was born in the Pinnacle Mountains on Sagitara.

Colonial: Lieutenant Iphigenia Magus (Kristanna Loken (Voice))Lieutenant Iphigenia Magus is the 21-year-old daughter of Commander Bryn Magus and sister of Captain Paulus Magus. She and William Adama are lovers; with her blonde hair and freckles, Iphigenia is described as looking like Adama's ideal counterpart.

Iphigenia was born in the city of Petaville on Caprica. An attractive and dynamic woman, Iphigenia usually went by her nickname "Iphi". A fighter pilot aboard the Galactica, she serves under the direct command of Commander Magus. Her older brother Paulus also flies as a pilot in Blue Wing. A military brat, she has a wild streak and a flippant sense of humor that seem at odds with her uncanny skills as a Viper pilot; Iphigenia frequently flirts with other male flyers, but in the thick of battle she is all business.

She prefers carefully-planned strategic attacks to tactical strikes, and knows that it will be successful strategies, and not random acts of pilot bravery, that would win the Cylon War for the Colonials. As such, she is at odds with her squad mate Lieutenant Garris Cain.

Iphigenia was killed in battle with Cylon forces. Her callsign was "Angel" and her Viper designation was Blue Two.

Colonial: Lieutenant William Adama (Robin Atkin Downes (Voice))Lieutenant William Adama, callsign "Husker" (because of his rough voice), is the 21-year protagonist of the BSG game. The player assumes the role of Adama in the course of the game.

William Adama's father had served in the Colonial military with Bryn Magus, and had saved his life more than once; he died during a skirmish with the Cylons near Sagitara, when Adama was eight. Adama's mother died during childbirth. Raised on Caprica, Magus ensured that the orphaned boy was well cared for, partly to honor the debt he felt to the young Adama's father. Adama later joined the Colonial Academy at the age of 15. After graduating from officer training at the start of the Cylon War with honors, Commander Magus specifically requested him for assignment to his ship, the Battlestar Galactica. Magus became a father-figure to him, and Adama fell in love with his daughter, Iphigenia Magus.

Along with Iphigenia Magus, his wing men were Magus' son Paulus and Lieutenant Garris Cain. Adama's Viper designation was Blue Four.

Cylon scrolls refer led them to believe that Adama will lead the Cylons to discover the Thirteenth Tribe; as such, he draws much interest from the Imperious Leader, Lord Erebus.

Cylon: CenturionThe Centurion is the workhorse of the Cylon Empire. Acting as infantry and pilot, the Centurion is as versatile as it is shiny.

Used in any front-line encounter, Centurions are the only type of Cylon a Colonial Warrior is likely to ever directly encounter.

Centurions speak with a mechanical voice, typically responding to orders with the iconic phrase "By your command".

Despite their name, they are the Cylons' lowest ranking soldiers, answerable to Crimson Elite Centurions and the Imperious Leader, Lord Erebus.

Cylon: Crimson Elite CenturionThe Crimson Elite are modified versions of the standard Centurion in service to the Imperious Leader Lord Erebus. A more evolved breed of Cylon, the Crimson Elites are smarter and more ruthless than their simplistic brethren, capable of simulating the worst of human emotions like hatred and anger.

Crimson Elite Centurions are assigned a prototype variant of the Cylon Raider fightercraft, known as the Crimson Elite Raider.

Cylon: Lord Erebus (Dwight Schultz (Voice))Lord Erebus is the Imperious Leader of the Cylon Empire.

He led the Cylon task force known as Cylon Fleet Gamma against the Twelve Colonies during the beginning of the Cylon War, and was especially interested in Lieutenant William Adama, whom it was believed would one day lead the Colonials (and thus, the Cylons) to the lost tribe of Humanity.

Little is known about the being that called itself Erebus beyond speculation and ill-remembered myths. A dark, devious and hate-filled individual, Erebus was driven by a desire to wipe out all humans, a species he saw as inferior. Not a native of the Cylon Alliance, he apparently served the Cylons only because it furthered his own ends. Some observers believed that Erebus was an incredibly long-lived being, possibly one of the mythic Lords of Kobol who were the progenitors of the Colonial civilization. Ancient records from the Tombs of Kobol speak of Erebus being exiled from his race for terrible crimes, and of his metahuman abilities that allow him to predict future events and project telekinetic force with his mind. Although it cannot be confirmed, it was suspected that Erebus commanded the Cylon forces that attacked Sagitara early in the war; it was during this assault that William Adama’s father was killed and Bryn Magus was captured and imprisoned. Whatever the truth about this aberrant, corrupt being, Lord Erebus proved himself to be a clear and present danger to all humans. Erebus was served by modified Centurions as part of his Crimson Elite Guard.

He was finally killed by Lieutenant William Adama in the upper atmosphere of the giant gas planet Golem Five.
