Hi,

Currently own TK, but interested in putting together a Cylon. I heard this is the place to be!

Cheers

Hey Hammer welcome on board. Is the TK a trooper suit?

Sure thing http://rt-mod.com/

I purchased mine from RT since it's made for larger guys. I was 6'1" 200lbs when I bought it, I quit smoking an put on 20lbs but it still fits nice. Let me know if I can assist further.

Cheers

It that your site, or someone else? I checked out the Borg guy some far, and looks like a very cool build, and straight forward. Thanks.

AWESOME stuff. WOW

Could you PM me more on your vac table? I want to build one of my own one day... I was wondering what was that different to pull ABS vs Styrene. Bigger vac?

I sent the Borg info to a friend, but I don't think that he'll make one... no one listens to me!

If I recall ABS is harder to pull, and Styrene takes more of a beating via detailing, and well is more friendly to repair in mistakes. Easy to sand and Bondo.

Sorry guys. The site belongs to a guy named Rob, those are all of his creations.

Sorry for the confusion.

Awesome builds you've done there, Hammer3246!

I've got one request as well: Could you give me some insight how the arm- and leg-armor is held together or how everything is secured to the undersuit? I could use this information for my future build of a full Sentry Robot-costume from "The Black Hole", which I plan to realize for some time now...

Unfortunately, it is next impossible to find a complete surviving Sentry-costume, so it's my guess a Stormtrooper-costume would be the best source for aquiring such knowledge... the arm- and leg-armor on both costumes are almost identical, by the way...

You're right... the work on it could be started this year, with a little luck (and money, of course)...
