Cylon sword

Hey guys I really am not happy how my Kropserkel sword is attached to the belt! Can you guys help me with how the correct belts attach the sword to the battery belt.

The sword belt is not attached to the battery belt. It is a separate belt.

The sheath is worn on a standard black leather belt worn backwards (with the buckle on the back).

It is attached to the belt by using a metal bracket:
