Skirt mesh

Post by Luke1978 » Wed Oct 09, 2013 6:14 am

Just wondering if anyone had had any dealing with either of these companies for skirt mesh.

http://masewa-wiremesh.com/wiremesh/metallic_cloth.htm - emailed them asking about a 24"x24" piece. Their reply was $95 inc shipping to the UK. They do a gun black which is quite close to gunmetal

and

http://www.cutfabricinc.com/shop.asp?id ... tal%20Mesh - emailed them a few time but not had any replies.

Never heard of either company TBH but would be extremely interested in upgrading my current KS mesh skirt and would appreciate any news/info as you get it!

Cool - the cutfabricinc one is slightly smaller in width but longer in length - 18"x60" (not sure how easy it would be to join two bits together) and seems a lot cheaper, just no answer from them. But will keep you updated as I decide what to do.

hmmmm - yeah that's the same one ive used - strange. How long ago did you order yours? Hoping they aint closed down. I'd give them a ring but being in the US it will cost a bit to try.

hmmm don't think they will be a viable option to go with then if they are fobbing people off - might have to go with the Asian company. As for size Goldcylon I think I remember seeing on their website or in one of the emails I got they are 4mm - I think.

'Scuse my total ignorance here but are these clearable for public use?? :?

Anyhoo! Still interested regardless and if there are a few of us we could save a bomb on import duty/tax if there was a bulk order (I do very occasionally have a good idea - but not very often according to my Eleanor! ).

Whilst doing some WWW surfing type stuff I came across this stuff on the Bay of Fleas that looks quite promising. Would be interested to hear what the rest of you think.
