I made this back pack from the life sized statue I have. I haven't made molds before so I did this by the seat of my pants. I used a product called Delight. It is an air dry modeling compound. I kneaded water into it so I could get it to fill into the small detailed areas. After drying about 2 or 3 days I was able to pull it off the back. It was very sturdy for its size. I was able to fill it with a 50 / 50 mix of Art STone, and Plaster of Paris. It weighted a whopping 38 lbs once finished. Not much detail work needed to be done, but after 3 weeks of dry time it did pick up about a dozen small holes. Nothing larger than a pencil lead tip.
