Iron Man Mk3

Post by Brutalmagic » Sat Jun 30, 2012 4:14 pm

Hi Guys,

Well I never do anything in half's that's for sure, its always all or nothing with me.

A Star wars Royal guard 95% complete.

Second Stormtrooper just about to start.

Cylon 50% complete.

Oh yeah a Mk3 Iron Man...

I received this a few weeks ago from a good friend who didn't realize the work involved, to be honest it was pretty much complete by the time I got my hands on it. This was an impulse buy and made it with my heart as lets be honest this suit is awesome!

The problem I have is I know nothing of the Iron man suits, I have no idea what part is what. I have pretty much guessed what parts go where and with looking at other peples build on the RPF Im getting there.

A few pictures!!

Looks awesome!

As for your parts question: Skullbeast would know, he'd worked on the first movie.

SOOO COOL!
Iron Man is the only comic "hero" I bought/read as a young boy... and of course I love Cylons and Star Wars too!
Would love to see some on your Royal Guard and Stormtrooper too. I want to do a Stormtrooper build after my Cylon ;)

You will make the kids at Lego Land CRAZY! :) Be sure to record a vid of it if you can.

I've worked on all the Ironman's iterations in some shape or form. What's the question?

My other note is mk3 is more like dark cherry, then the other versions but once again not many know.

Small Update

Wow Skullbeast any tips or suggestions won't fall on deaf ears!

The suit came from Leslee (Masked Rider) in Malaysia.

Leslee is known to produce some of the best Iron Man helmets and suits out there. (so I'm told)

This is a special suit as he personally upgraded this with a few extras to use for his own collection for display, but he ended up selling it.

"This is the set made for my own collection , since im busy with other work and i have no time to display it , so thought i will offer to member that interested for a set of finished MARK III armor ready to suit up or display .

This set is a special addition , cause ive added some detail parts . Chest light with Big ARC reator and also added all the detail bolts and pods got from Clinton ( Finhead ) ."

I need to pad out the fore arms so the stop spinning. Any ideas on where I can get my hands on a dark red undersuit?
