Post by groupleaderzeta » Tue Apr 17, 2012 9:31 am

Here is a teaser of my new version 3 eye scanner. Version 3 will be available in bulb or LED versions.
Controller is under development now, vid shows phase 1 programming and LEDs. Phase 2 is a working prototype of bulb unit.

Yes its LEDs. In the first segment you see the helm head on. In the second, you are looking up at the helm as a child or short person.
The vid is showing the start of programming using my development controller. I will say that version 3 may NOT be compatible with previous versions
of my controllers.

How much power do you need for the scanner ?
Is there enough space to put all the parts in the helmet later ?

The actual scanner controller is in design stage, but I am making sure it fits the same as the others in the mohawk. As for power I am not sure, again its still in the design stage. I will keep everyone posted on progress.

I LOVE it Zeta. It gives such a nice "robotic" feeling to the Centurion. Like I told you in our chat, I think you have a great creative spin on the power up for the eye!!! It looks like he's booting up.

Looks like an electronic arc slowly powering up and then stabilizing! If that makes any sense!

The flickering is a happy programming side effect.

Just a little note, I am working on the sound unit, that slowly increases volume with the awakening LED.
