Gold cylon's skirt color?
What is the color of the skirt for a cylon commander? is it the same metal mesh? is it brass or gold color?

Re: Gold cylon's skirt color?
Ah... The Command Centurion (Gold Armor) - best know as the character "Vulpa" correctly has a gold skirting.
Check out the ByYourCommand.net photo gallery for Vulpa at:
http://www.byyourcommand.net/cylongalle ... temId=2847
Page two has several "on display" photos from several SciFi robot displays.... you can see the gold skirting. Here is a good image: http://www.byyourcommand.net/cylongalle ... temId=2892 and also here is GoldCylon's photo of a screen used Command Centurion Gold Skirting http://www.byyourcommand.net/cylongalle ... temId=2878
Also note, the Command Centurion has an ALL black under suit (not plumb/gun metal gray) - he had gold accents on his boots (not silver) and he has gold trim on his gloves (not gun metal gray). Plus he has a deeper voice and typically gets shot in the back and then the front by Starbucks before his entire base is blowed up
Hope this helps!

As a side note, be aware that the skirts of the copper-colored Command Centurion costumes had a copper-colored skirt in order to match the armor parts.
I've did a small comparison for both skirt-versions as well:

I think the "copper" Centurion was just a goof... not a "real" character in the Cylon empire.
1. Since as far as I can remember it only appeared once in some re-hash of the original show - the recut video versions - RIGHT? Or maybe it was in one shot in the original BSG... don't remember.
2. There was no toy for one! Only Chrome and Gold. If there was a Copper/Bronze they would have made a toy of one so people would BUY all three
Seems to me copper/bronze/whatever - was just a production goof - bad day in the prop shop!

The bronze guy is from "Gun on Ice Planet Zero", and his user name is Vulpa. No know name was ever given to any Gold colored Cylons. The gold guys were seen in two episodes, and the bronze guy was seen two times also. The 2nd episode was "The Hand of God" Vulpa currently resides in Seattle at the SciFi Museum, while the gold guy resides at my residents.

I'm still not certain if the costume with gold armor-parts was used in any episode. Maybe the've prepared it for filming but never used it because of the original series' abrupt cancellation?
I also know that it's hard to tell under studio lights which color the armor really had, but I still think only the copper- or bronze-colored armor were used on the costumes...
By the way: Do you had any success in findung the scene were all three versions of the Command Centurion (gold, copper & bronze) appeared at once on screen?

Re: Gold cylon's skirt color?
Yeah, it will depend on the light... Gold/Copper/Bronze all of them are probably the same costume different lighting or the plate was a different batch and the prop shop didn't care/have time to fix them to be one tone.
Since they didn't appear together (but once??) there is not way to really tell. And since there were only Gold and Chrome toys - the canon of the 1978 Centurion characters is just the two, a Chrome Centurion and a Gold (or near gold) toned Command Centurion. That's how I see it!

I also think the mysterious "all-kinds-of-Command-Centurions-at-once"-scene is just a myth...
