Cylon eye $130
OK, like I said in another post my friend is currently working on the development of a 32 LED scanner. after lots of research he say today he's about ready to start to make a prototype scanner. once its ready I will post some pictures and video of it. I just wondered how many others may be interested in one ? he suggested that the components should run at about $40-50 (

So GUESSING at the other's quantity your list would be:
NASH = 1 x please
Cylon-Knight = INTERESTED IN 1 x pending more info
cblackthorne = INTERESTED IN 1 x pending more info
Mr Fett = INTERESTED IN 1 x pending more info
-Would the scanner include a "speed" setting? (Scan slower/faster).
-Would it include any sound effect/sound system? Or ONLY be lights?
-Would the LEDs "fade" on/off... to create a smooth scan - NOT each LED harshly blinking on and off quickly "appearing" to fade since they go so fast?

no sound just LED
you last question is unknown until its made... hes ordered the parts.
as for mounting he said he will fit them in to a strip of styrine, you can either keep them in that of remove them for your own mount.
