Customised King Walder99 figure by Takara company.

Vintage Figure released in 1999, an updated version of the 1970's Henshin Cyborg line, there were also updated figures released in 1998 with different body designs and details.

The figure comes apart easily, with small screws in each section. Using a jeweller's screwdriver, I dismantled the two halves of the body and limbs and began adding the extra details.

I Customised the figure by adding internal bio mechanical wiring and components.
Mechanical parts are from scrap and spare kit parts.
The wiring is black label ties (perfect size and look for the figure)
Also, silver basin plug chain is used for power conduit along with purple tinted fishing line.
I used pink expanding foam for extra organs to match existing ones.

The extra arms at the rear are tapered plastic tubing, painted with metallic purple acrylic filled with wiring, lengths of black 1mm electric wire.
Grey plastic screw plugs are inserted with short, wide headed screws to join on the magnets in the back sockets. (All 99 edition Cyborgs have these sockets, presumably for accessories sold separately for the figures)
The spare set of hands(supplied),fit into the front joints in the tubing.

The multi-eyed head is an arm attachment accessory supplied with the figure that I decided to alter and replace the original head. I cut off 1cm allowing the correct diameter to fit the neck joint and added internal wiring.

The legs were hollow, so I added biomechanics with the wiring.
The metal pistons in the legs and upper arms are cut down screws painted with purple metallic inserted inside plastic tubing.

Pins are inserted into the feet and attached to the display base.

The figures are vintage collectables and can be found on Ebay.

You added all of the internal bits? They are brilliant. It really improves the figure's story with so much fine detail!

The basic parts, such as heart,stomach and brain were already in the figure. I added some extra organs along with wiring, pistons for the legs and arms and some mechanical parts. The extra arms were scratch built.
