Original Cylon Centurion helmet on eBay
There's an offer for an supposedly screen-used Cylon helmet on eBay.
Sadly, the pictures have a very small resolution so that you can't see any details if it's original or not...
Here's the link anyway:

It does only say it's an "original". It says it was film used, but maybe thats means it was just the style that was film used?. most people would say that it was an original Cylon helmet due to the fact there's new cylons in the current series. Thats just the way I'd read the sale.
But they could have worded it a little better...

Nice new images - thanks for the update Red Eye!
I'm not sure about the helmet being screen used (1978). It just doesn't seem as reflective as it should be. You can barely make out the bed spread, etc. right next to it. The originals were crazy reflective. Maybe it is the effects of time? Or it was not a hero helmet - perhaps a stunt/background one?
Also, I don't know about the gold suit being screen used (1978). The gloves have a metal band, I don't think that is proper from the show. Also, the under suit seems more gray/black in color, not the future-spacey-silver/plum color of a 78 Cylon.
Don't get me wrong, they are NICE. If I had the $ they'd be on their way to my doorstep by now

Yes, the chrome is what worries me, too...
Maybe it doesn't look as shiny as it should because of the flash from the camera...
I've also got an reply from her on my recently asked questions: The scanner eye is functional, too!
The golden Command Centurions wore black undersuits, so it could be an screen-used Command Centurion we have here... but to indentify the costume as original with only one picture as reference is nearly impossible... maybe she makes a few more if somebody asks...

Well guys I haven't spoken with the lady yet, but markings that I can see this looks like screen used items, or 1:1 exact parts were used, but I can't tell via the small photos if it is a screen used Cylon or not. The under suit is the wrong color for a gold Cylon (black). I won't tell all on what I can see that makes me think this might be a screen used Cylon helmet beyond her word, but if it isn't a screen used Cylon helmet it is over priced.

I have spoken to her again a few times, and a couple of others. Yes these items (parts) are real. The husband that passed bought three different colored Cylon parts (as many as he could) when these came out of Universal back in 1992. He wasn't able to completely gather one complete Cylon so you then spent years having replica parts and pieces made to complete the 3 Cylons. He was able to complete 2 or the 3. He did good work, but never finished the 3rd Cylon. This is the helmet that is for sale the unfinished 3rd Cylon.

The screen-used Centurion helmet has been relisted on eBay...
This time, the starting bid has been raised to $5.000 (!)...
