UNSEEN FX FOOTAGE IN HD
I don't think this has ever been posted, my apologies if it has. I found 4 pages of Galactica stock footage in HD, most we've seen in the show. However, there are a few clips that never made it into an episode, or in the deleted scenes that have been released. Some clips are slightly longer than what was actually used, or used just in projections behind the cockpit mock up. Here's a few of my favorites:

I also found clips from Buck Rogers, Street Hawk, Airwolf, Tales Of The Gold Monkey, Knight Rider, and Magnum PI

That looks great. Where can we see the footage from the other shows?

Re: UNSEEN FX FOOTAGE IN HD
I was thinking the other day, with so many fan edits it's too bad some Galactica fan couldn't cough up the dough to buy all of that unseen HD FX footage and cobble it back in various episodes.
I think that would look better than CGI that really doesn't match the "look" of the optical FX work from the late 70's.

I'd love it if Universal went back to the raw elements and rebuild all the episodes and all of the SPFX shots in the digital domain ala George Lucas; remove all the errors that crept in like garbage mattes etc. I'm sure that if they went through all the outtakes from the SPFX they could probably create some additional shots to break up the repitition. I'd also create superior digital matte paintings precisely based on the old ones.
By rebuilding the episodes in this way, all the softness in opticals and scene transitions would be bannished to the past with crystal clear, first generation images. I'd also offer the vintage version and the slightly improved version from the rebuild.

Re: UNSEEN FX FOOTAGE IN HD
Sadly it appears these clips are no longer available; did anyone archive the watermarked preview videos for posterity before they were disabled? I found out about them pretty recently and had intended to do the ol' "Right-Click/Save As" on all of them but never got round to it.
Some great unused shots, especially the third link above: a squadron of Vipers over a blue planet (Kobol I'm guessing, couldn't be Carillon). MCA-57 was also apparently having problems making the Atlantia explosion convincing (the ship just disappears before the explosions) so they cheated it in editing. The Galactica theatrical poster stuck on the wall in Egypt was also a hoot!
Regardless it's gratifying to know Universal has these raw VFX shots archived in such pristine HD quality. Individual licenses for these clips are quite pricey, but maybe Uni will see some value in publishing them for a consumer audience.

Sadly I had only nabbed 2 clips, was wanting to grab all of them but never got around to it.
They must have lost their deal with Universal, not only is Galactica gone but so are the clips from Buck Rogers, Airwolf, Knight Rider, Street Hawk, and Tales of the Gold Monkey.
