Reconstructed scenes from The Living Legend
Recently, at the urging of another forum member, I undertook to rehabilitate a few unfinished outtakes from The Living Legend. Unfortunately this required me to do a bit of voice acting as well as editing, but I hope the results will still be satisfactory.
IL conversation on Gamoray:
Extended control room assault sequence:
(This incorporates two reconstructed scenes along with some extra material from Mission Galactica for the most complete version of the sequence possible.)

Good job on the editing as usual.

If Galactica was still in production, I'd tell Jonathan Harris and Murry Matheson to watch their backs!

Re: Reconstructed scenes from The Living Legend
Aw shucks! Many thanks. I love the IL series with their obsequious yet condescending vocal cadences. Wish I had an IL around the house to carry out my orders and insult me with subtlety.
Which brings up a point, though: why didn't voice actors in the Seventies get screen credits except in cartoons? Not only Jonathan Harris and Murray Matheson, but Patrick Macnee (except as Iblis), and then there was James Earl Jones in Star Wars as well as (IIRC) in BR25C Mel Blanc, Eric Server, William Conrad, Vic Perrin, the infamous Bob Elyea, and whoever the hell voiced Crichton. The guy in the suit would get credit, but not the one who did the voice. Was it some kind of union thing?

I've never heard why the voice guys almost all the time didn't get credit.Hope It Is The Grog wrote: Which brings up a point, though: why didn't voice actors in the Seventies get screen credits except in cartoons? Crichton was voiced by a guy named Jeff David, and William Conrad was replaced by the voice guy who says "The Android Sisters" in one of those rare Galactica promos. I think it's Hank Simms. He did some of the voicework for some of Quinn Martin shows ;

Cool. That's got to be the "Police Squad! In color!" guy too.

Slightly longer version of the second clip now uploaded at the same link. It now has the bit with Starbuck asking "Can't they hear that?"

Hummmm... both links now give a 500 error at Drop box...?
Perhaps you could send me the files and I'll store them aboard our Basestar's computer core so things don't go missing? Just an idea.

Really? I'm still getting to them and I'm not signed in. Care to try again? Maybe it was just a temporary thing.
(Plus I'm not sure how I could send them to you except through Dropbox, as they're pretty large files.)
