Show us your Cylon...

Post by nashslash » Sun Oct 19, 2008 9:00 am

Just thought I'd start a post by asking all members to show off either there costume or static cylons. As it would be good to see all the different types of cylons about, originals and replicas, or work in progress.

I'll start off the post, so here I am...

Couple of quick tips Briz, for your cylon. First of all. Get a black permanent marker pen and go round all the edges of that sponge patches and colour it black. KS just loves to leave a shoddy finish.

Second try modding your gloves. If you look at my gloves they were the same as yours to begin with. Get some styrene and some fablon. Cut the original wrist band from the gloves and make a new ring from styrene and fablon. It closes the wrist space down and gives a better finish and look the glove.to. Rip off that quality cake decoration material... good old KS again. You certainly cant use the words KS and quality finish in the same sentence can you.?

I have too many photos to post, but you knew that already, but a great thread. Just look over at my photo gallery to see a few photos of me in my Cylon.

Is it possible that a Cylon could eat one too many daggits? Sadly, I'm one of them.

Here's my new favorite picture of my costume for some reason.

I'm still working on it, there are some rough edges, white showing in spots, etc..
