Never mind, I found one, all I need to do is clean it up and loop it.
It's one with almost no background noise.

It has a slight hiss, and a cut off but I guess that's fixable with Audacity
I'll give it a go tonight when I'm at home.

If you have the Galactica 1980 DVD set, you can capture the eye scanner sound without any background noises at the end of "The Night the Cylons landed".

Let me know if you'd like to have the file.

Hammer, I have some eye sound files if you want a copy of them. Check the gallery too... Red Eye may have put them the, I forget if I sent them to him for the gallery or not. At work now no time t to dig for them, sorry.
