Question regarding under suit fit.

Post by Omega Red » Mon Jun 10, 2013 1:55 am

I tried to search in this site for info regarding under suit fit from Kropserkel. No luck or i just suck at searching. My question is does the under suit leave breathing room when you have it on. I wear a size 34" pants but should I compensate and add a few inches when I turn in my measurements? I just want to make sure it's not too tight when I have it on. I might over eat at the next Halloween party or any function and i don't want to rip a hole in it! lol Does the material stretch or is it elastic on the waist? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks all!

general rule with the cylon under suit is that is if is not tight and somewhat uncomfortable then it isn't right.

I had a custom suit made and the seamstress made it 'comfortable. It does not look right. I ended up having everything brought in on it.

If possible, custom fit it to your body. Not all legs are the same length nor torsos so when you fit it to you type then the whole suit will come across as believable.

Omega Red - I have a Krop suit around I can put on again and see... I'm 38 waist  if I remember it fits me fine... they are a very "one size fits most" type deal (unless they have changed things since the suit I have was created). But, Hand-Schaub is right - if it is snug it looks "right" ... too loose the look is not as "Cylon."

I'll let you know... for now enjoy that Halloween candy ;)

I just tried them on, they are VERY "P.J." like with an elastic band. I could put a volly ball in the waist line and still wear them - lots of STRETCH. If anything they might be a tiny bit loose on you @ 34" but the battery belt or a safety pin or two would help keep you from having your Cylon pants on the ground.

I'm sure Scott will get back to you, he has excellent customer service. Krop suits are a great starting point, keep us posted on your build. If you want more detailed - screen correct options they are out there too. ... Just ask your bank acount what it wants to let you have ;) lol

I never liked my Krop undersuit. I gave my measurements and added an inch to all measurements. The pants cam back a bit to loose, which was easy to fix with suspenders. My problem was the shirt. it was sooooo tight i had trouble wearing it. It fit so weirs that it actually fit better if i put it on backwards. And just for the record, i wasnt putting it om backwards. So i contacted Krop and they said send it back and they would fix it. I resent measurements and sent back the shirt and even after it was returned it still didnt fit right. Dont know who they has sewing it, but it never made me feel happy. Scott was very nice about it, but i never re contacted him after that and just live with the idea that ill get a real undersuit made.
