SS Basestar replica - pic heavy
Hello all,
Here are some pics of the basestar replica I've recently finished.
I'll keep it short. It's very nice to have it done.
Thanks for looking.

More pics. It looks like I can only attach 10 at a time?

Imperious thanks for joining, and sharing with us here your amazing build.
A few questions if you don't mind.
Did you make plans for this via studying photos?
I am not a model builder, and can only ID a couple of common pieces but were you able to match piece for piece?
Also looks like maybe a few custom made pieces were made.
Did you use the Plexiglas frame to make to case to house the pieces?
One more if you don't mind. Did you make a single master for each section, and then resin copy to cover the rest of the section?
Anything you would like to share about the build outside the questions I asked please feel free to toss in.
For this being your first finished build you knocked it out of the park. Time to hand out a resume.

OH Imperious ... welcome to BYC.net... and WOW
Your build is a jaw dropper, but you know that!
I can't even guess how long it took to craft that work of art. I love it. Sometime I will probably hit you up for permission to use your Basestar for various images on ByYourCommand.net or CylonEmpire.com ... any sort of screen cap I can make of the ship PALES next to your ship.
LOOOVE the pics, than you so much for sharing them with us here. Looking foward to any other info you have on the ship/build. Dale's questions pretty much sum up what Cylon's wanna know

So frakkin' accurate in every detail!
You must be very proud of it.
Oh, and welcome aboard, by the way!
