Although it doesn't have that plastic chrome look it looks awesome! It actually has a realistic quality to it while still being accurately chromed. It looks great!

From what I understand it was done Aluminum over bare resin with a clear coat... I'll have to verify that.

The nickel/copper I have seen in the past has a very bluish look to it.

Last update: I've added some chrome tape to simulate a screen accurate look and installed a Red Gel as a lens. Thanks for everybodys input and kind words! BUT!!! This is not the end of this quest as I am still on the hunt for a 1978 Screen Accurate Helmet for display. Stay Tuned...
