What can I say - I am speechless!!! WOW. I honestly thought this was going to continue to drag on further.
Phew, it has been sooo long - I can't wait to finally get my suit!
Thanks again Dale. I know that this has caused you more frustration than you deserved. Thank you, thank you, thank you (yes I am excited - after 18 months I am allowed to be)!

Undersuits
Well fellas, we can rest assured that we are ALL in the same boat, at least in this experience in the Cylon replicas, we know NOW that there is NOT a seamstress out there who can complete this project in less than a year (if not quit on you) so therefore PATIENCE and FRUSTRATION is well worth having a MASTERPIECE like this!!!!!

Dale, fireworks are definitely appropriate! Once again - whew, and thanks.
Chris, fully agree with your comments - very frustrating, perhaps thats why all new cylons are cgi. What studio can afford to wait so long.
Looking forward to the pics Dale, and then the parcel in the mail. Than I will have to gather up the other bits and pieces.

OK Suits in hand, but with a minor problem. She made two mistakes, but some what minor, and then her work is about a rating of 6 or 7 on a 1 - 10 scale. The water damage from the fire destroyed the material I supplied. She replaced it, but with just a bit darker than I supplied. She didn't think it would be noticed, but I did notice. She also didn't use buck rum on the backing on the patch work, so they large patched area isn't stiff. It can be warm ironed to firm it up, but it is what it is. Here is a photo of the two suits, and then below to a link of the other photos I took. Not perfect, but they are the best thing out there. She has made an offer to make more in the future, but it won't take so long next time, because she does have the patterns needed to speed up the system. Also she has a better idea what materials are need in quantity. All materials to have a suit made need to be supplied by the person the suit is going to be made for. I'll supply details as needed to anyone looking to have a suit made.

I would like to take this opportunity to add an epilogue to the undersuit saga. Well the seamstress goofed on the colour of the suits, but after expressing my disappointment with Dale he up and offered me his replica suit as a replacement.
Now it took 18 months to finalise this transaction, but if it wasn't for Dale's efforts then my Cylon project would be nothing - nada, zilch. Dale did the hard work finding the seamstress; it wasn't his fault that she dragged this out. He was prepared to give me a refund if I lost patience with the delay, and he was always prompt in answering my emails.
Essentially Dale is a man of integrity, and I am confident that you can deal with him with certainty that he will do the right thing by you. His efforts on this forum are a godsend, and I think we are all in his debt.
Anyway thanks again Dale. I owe you big time!

Undersuits
It is sad and unfortunate that Cylons have to be the most complex, expensive, time consuming, and the most DETAILED replica costume in history, no wonder the originals are so expensive!!!!!!!!!!!!
