I loved watching the classic series as a kid and from time to time i revisit my youth via the magic of dvd.
I'm also really enjoying the new stuff aswell which in itself is rather amazing as im getting to that age now where nostalgia takes over and automatically says that the old stuff is best.
Of course i've always had more of a liking to the bad guys rather than the heroes coz they are just much much cooler right ? 8)
My aim here is to learn some more about the props and costumes because as all us nerds know it's all about the details isn't it.
I would dearly love a super accurate complete centurian outfit but i don't have the experience or money to invest in that right now so am starting off at the bottom rung.
I just bought a cylon helmet kit from Dale and this will be my first BSG prop i have ever built or even owned.
Anyway it's nice to be here and i'm looking forward to gaining knowledge and spending some of my time with you all
