breathing in helmet

Post by Phil Oliver » Sat Oct 22, 2011 8:06 pm

I finally got my Cylon from Kropserkel. It is awesome. Wore it to a costume party already and was treated like a rockstar. It certain does impress. I gotta say though that I find it hard to breath in the helmet - it's hot and not much space between my mouth and the back of the grill. If I push the helmet further back giving more space it is easier to breath but hard to see. You look out just above the red sweeping eye, Visually I find it challenging. I've noticed in other helmets there are pin holes above the eye area to see out of. I am not sure which is better. All this said it is well worth it for the awesomeness that this costume brings. I am going to wear it as often as I can over the next few weeks.

breathing in helmet

Yeah the vision in a helmet is very limited. Not a lot can be done but sounds like you have ok vision so maybe a micro fan to get fresh air for breathing? Sound like you had a great start with the costume. Welcome to the life as a Cylon.

I have no problems in my Helmt, it is also a KS Helmet.
I can watch out also above the red eye, not to much space, but enough.
