Well my vacation is almost over and we are 99.9% done with the first half of my undersuit. It looks fantastic. and then the sewing machine blew a gasket, Literally. :frak: Sadly as we were sewing on the zipper something of the timing got off and the needle went down and there was this horrible clank noise. And that was all she wrote. Gonna try and finish it up tomorrow on the other machine, but the rest of the suit will have to wait for later this year and another vacation.

will post pics when I can.

If "they" say it can't be done, it just means "they" cant do it.

Sorry to hear about the accident on the zipper.
Nevertheless, can't wait to see some photos.

Cool well on your way. You did a great job. Black on black for me. That may be my indoor over the rainy winter job for me. Did you layer it like shingles, or one piece?

Great job jclayman99!
How did you do the pattern/parts? Just wing it?
P.S. I was WORRIED reading your post: the needle went down and there was this horrible ... I was expecting to read next ... "
scream." GLAD it was just the machine breaking down.

He stopped by my house and picked up a suit and used it as the template on Friday. he dropped it off today on his way back home. His mom who did the work did outstanding work, and gosh darn quick also. I took a peak at it when he stopped by on the way back to S.Cal.

Stopped in Fresno on the way home to visit some family. Thanks for the help Dale wasn't sure if you wanted that info public knowledge. Your suit was invaluable.
