Kropserkel Sword and Scabbard Update
I just wanted to say a special thanks to Kropserkel and Mr. Scott Maple as I've just received their sword and scabbard prop via USPS and overall I am very impressed! The whole kit is roughly $220.00 and comes chromed and assembled. I haven't seen or heard of anyone else out there making this prop but I know that from time to time the handle is available and must be PERMANENTLY bolted to the scabbard, being that the downfall is you never see the sword and you have to find or fabricate and chrome a decent scabbard (Only great for the "motionless" mannequin display). But the beauty of the Kropserkel prop is the fact you can pull the sword from the scabbard and put it back in, a COMPLETE replica prop!!!! Also there are a few small "straps" affixed to the back of the scabbard for the proper "hang" effect which the scabbard does not move from the Cylon's left-side position. This, for sure, makes that Cylon really stand out

Cool! Chris, post pics of what you received. Also, what was the turn-around time? Are these in-stock or made-to-order? Thanks.chrisd wrote:I just wanted to say a special thanks to Kropserkel and Mr. Scott Maple as I've just received their sword and scabbard prop...

Kropserkel Sword and Scabbard
The turnaround is 6 weeks but they were very prompt by that and as I said, I don't know of ANYONE who has this available to order, especially sooner than that unless you find one on Ebay or something. As for pics, I've sent them to Dale so when he has the time hopefully he can post them for me as I am not sure how to upload them to this site, so stand by for the pics...

No pics just yet as my Cylon is "under construction"! But the last and hardest part of my costume is the undersuit which my seamstress is working hard to complete. The two black straps (in the pic) affix to any belt and securely hold the scabbard in place. When I get the time I'll try to post more pics of how it would have the proper hang effect.

I was noticing that I really don't have any good photos of my sword, so I am going to work on that over the next few days, and get that posted in the new photo gallery sword sub folder. http://byyourcommand.net/photogallery/Sword
