Ok, as someone who has been officially labeled a "cookie monster" I just can't let this thread die a slow painful death.

I was in India a few months ago and really enjoyed a dessert they have there called "kaju-katli". It's soft and sweet cashew-nut bars (kind of like almond cookies) cut in diamond shapes and covered with edible silver foil for decoration (I know you cylons already know where this is headed !!-LOL). Anyway, I saw this video on how to make it yourself and it's actually pretty easy. This weekend I'll try to find the ingredients for it and hopefully the silver foil too. If I'm successful I'll post some pictures of some cylon-shaped kaju-katli. Gonna be fun...and tasty.

Well, I made the cookies but the silver foil thing didn't work out. I wasn't able to find that at the stores I tried. Need to check out some sources on line.
