It's based on this pattern: http://www.burdastyle.de/burda-style/fa ... 6_358.html

Re: Images wanted for Cylon citizen mask (new build)
NEW UPDATES!
So I am making Red eye the first 'production' mask and I'm happy he pressed me to make the little clip things for it. I was having trouble making a positive form for it so I decided to work backwards. I took some clay and did a reverse sculpt of it which I poured resin in. What came out were pretty rough, thick and messy resin positives. These will be cleaned up and remolded. The finals should resemble the originals pretty well I think.
The paper plug mouth thing is just card stock cut out.
Finally the whole mask is the current state of the piece. I'm going to attach the smaller pieces and then repaint the face portion gold again. Notice the resistors on the right side as they look more authentic to the 70s style (they are actually diodes). Also the plug , and wire junction and 'nose hook' are resin casting which I made. The final installation will be the zig zag eye scanner. I decided to put a simple red film in the eye socket to make it look a bit more finished and have a 'cylon' feel to it. OKay - enough chatter - pictures

One word: WOW!
You really did an AMAZING job on the Civilian masks!
Sorry for going on your nerves again, but have you already drilled some holes at the upper head/rim of the mask? It's hard to see in your photos...

Images wanted for Cylon citizen mask (new build)
Are you planning out the lights? I'm interested in seeing it lit in dim light. Did the scanner work the same as the centurions. Are you planning on supplying lights or a kit. Well done!

GoldCylon made this video not so long ago:
Hope it helps.
I don't know if Hand-Schaub wants to sell any kits of the mask.
He stated that he's going to sell them finished incl. the lights for the eyes.

Re: Images wanted for Cylon citizen mask (new build) - Final!
Final!!
Yup - I sculpted the little clip thing-a-ma-bobs and found a button for the forehead that was the right size and look. So... the first FINAL cylon civilian will be going out to Redeye in the very near future. Other than the first few shots which show some parts in their raw state I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves.

I can only say it again: I sinple blown away by our skills! FANTASTIC work you've done there!!!
And here are the questions as usual:
Is the color (blue) for the eye scanners permanent? Or can you change it to a more suitable white?
Have you find a solution for attaching the battery inside the mask?
