Hi womo68,
Sorry nothing as of today. It's pretty much a waiting game now. We have no definite ETA :(

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I've recently sold my kropserkel cylon and am searching for anything authentic looking to upgrade. I'd appreciate a heads up if you guys pull the trigger. Sounds awesome.

Hi William,

Any updates on the G&M seven section belts.

I just picked up a Cine60 for a very nice price (cost more to ship it to Australia) but I may still be interested if he can produce any belts for you.

Thanks for the update William.

Anyway as I have a belt now there is no rush, but they are nice belts!

You and Dale will just have to keep up the good work - it is obvious to me that it is pretty hard to piece together the parts, so when they all come together, it will be more satisfying in the end.

New guy here with a question:

Why is the Kropserkel replica a "joke"? Full disclosure: I know the folks at Kropserkel, and I think they are both talented and decent people. I'm sure if there were any genuinely constructive criticisms, they would be receptive to improvements. As a long time screen-used and replica prop collector, I would gladly put their Cylon in my collection. But I'd love to hear more feedback.

Thanks!

Hi John and welcome to the board.
I personally have never viewed one in person, but the biggest let down to me is the back pack. It isn't close at all. The original pack and theirs is about like trying to comparea a Pinto, and a Mustang and say they are the same. A few other things also, like the under suit, and the gloves, but those are minor details that only a true fan would notice. 95% of the people out on the market would never notice, but here is the 5% that would, and do see the things that are wrong. As for the thickness of the plastic, and the quality of the chrome I have no idea at all. I do understand the stuggle to mass produce a Cylon, and also trying to find the rare harder to find items like the gloves, and the battery back. Those things are easy as old as they are, but if the back pack could be fixed that would sure make it more realalistic looking. As for the undersuit, well that is damn over all hard for anyone, and everyone involved trying to have one made. I have been somewhat lucky that I have found two people to make them in the past, but the time frame of making the very realistic 1:1 copy of the suit is a joke. About 1 year to mke the suit is a bit slow. The battery belt can't be found, and the gloves are to rare to keep a regular stock of them for the suit also. I do, believe I do fully understand the trails of what they need to do, but at least fix the backpack, and it would be at least a 100% effort try on their part, at least I think it would impress the true collectors. As for the other items, only someone with time, and effort could fix the other items. Is it worth it to someone that is going to resale it? NO, but left the Cylon collector fan tweak it out.

Dale
