OK regardless if Comic Con is hit or miss it might be a good idea to get a group name like those snow white Troops have over at the 501st.
Submit your suggestions, and lets take a vote about we get a few in.
I have a few here to start.
(1) Vulpa's Commandos
(2) Group 3 Section 127 and 28
(3) Tin Heads
(4) Toaster Squad
(5) Chrome Domes
OK everyone this can be fun, and silly so toss it out and lets see what you have in mind, and what we might come up with.
This is a open comment section so quest can post and sound off, but please leave a contact name in your posting suggestion so we no who suggestion it.

I'll try to think of some ideas too, great idea GoldCylon... however... I vote to veto (4) Toaster Squad... that is cool and all but "toaster" is a 2007 Sci Fi Battlestar "Cylon slur" and we are rooted in Classic Cylons. If we were to grow and include ALL things Cylons, then okay, but as we are now - Tin Cans is more fitting.

Those are some fun names!

Atlantia Death Squadron could be another. On the Cheesy side..."Baltar's Brigade" lol


What about the military break down?

As far as I can tell the whole thing goes something like this...

Alliance
Empire
Garrison
Squadron
Phalanx (this one is questionable but seems to come up).


Ranks seem to be simple enough as well. (Got this off of Wikipedia so who knows).

IL series
Commander
Centurion
Drone

Thought of "Chrome Commandos" last night after reading these. Borrow from two and make a third! lol

Its unfortunate that the "Cylon Alliance" forums left some bad blood around. That name would be pretty cool!

I thought about the Cylon Alliance also, but it is a used named already, but I wasn't aware of the bad blood. If bad blood and Cylon.org I am aware of that issue.
How about a criss cross over name. The Cylon Quorum or just Cylon Quorum.

How about Tinhead Tinkers? LOL!

Well keep it simple and say, "Cylon Empire" or "Cylon Forces".

Well C.A. may sound good but it doesn't make sense to me. It was never indicated in the show (original) that there ever was an alliance between Cylons and Cylons since the story lead us to believe they were all acting in unison to annihilate humans and were being lead by their Imperious Leader.
* I was corrected by my good friend Reaper that this in fact was indicated in the show. But I still like Cylon Empire
Cylon Empire makes better sense because they had an Imperious Leader who designated authority to the other lower Cylon citizens who operated in a higher function (The Lucifer Class??? Not sure if I got the name right) and to leaders of the baseline centurions, the Gold Cylons.

Just my thoughts

Cylon Quorum sounds good. So does Cylon Empire. There are a lot of possible choices I just wish I could think of more!

What about "Cylon Imperium"?

Heres my stabb then...

My first choice would be: Cylon Empire
... that covers all the bases of costumes for all classic Cylon types - it is a group with a command structure, etc. etc.

Some other very cool names we can consider (provided by a friend of mine) are:
-Tin Can Brigade
-Gamoray Garrison
-Red-Eye Raiders

Well those are some great names you have there. Lets keep the name suggestion arena open a bit longer then I'll gather the names up, and we can take a poll to see what the winner will be.
