Hello fellow Cylons! And BEWARE lowly humans, my Cylon rifle is now complete and fully operational - and I can fire at will. (Hope your name is not WILL!
) lol
Sanding down the panel. I love my belt sander.
Left: A chunk of extra plastic from my armor - I need to test if my paint will match the rifle well enough...
Right: YES!
Left: The panels and edges all ready to paint
Right: My (literally) good for nothing but to paint on stump
heehee
Left: PAINTED! Thank you Mother Nature for not being a "B" again today so I can spray paint outside.
Right: BOOM! They look gooooooooooood, don't they?
Left: The devil is in the details
Right: Go, go, go
Left: Whoooo all done!
Right: The other side, equally as awesome
(P.S. Notice the Scotch super glue - gel. That stuff is SERIOUS. Cylon-Knight mind APPROVED!)
Left: Notice the trigger. All painted up and good to go.
Right: Close up view of the black nozzle trim.

Looking good, but hey next time over using a paint brush like that try just pouring some pint on like a paper towel, and just roll completely around. A then amount in a pan works also. Over all you are doing some awesome throw it together quick work, and good cool original designs, and approach. I'll let you stand next to me (maybe) at G3.

Yay! I get to contribute to the Cylon-Knight build thread with PICTURES! I was at the chrome guy today and although he had a supply problem with the 'chrome', I do have some parts to show that are near complete. I'm happy that your backpack was still not finished because I guess he misunderstood the part that needed to be filled. I made sure he fills the 'collar' portion that has the construction ridge but not the very back portion. The rest of the parts should be complete and ready to ship by the end of the week. Sorry - the helmet picture is blurry - my fault.

Upclose of the grill drying in the partly sunny day.
Left: Okay, the back pack disk. How to hold onto it and not sand my fingers at the same time? I created a masking tape handle.
Right: All sanded and out to the "paint booth"
Left: First coat
Right: There we go... another no more Cylon-White bit.
