I've seen that photo once before, that's right, he's got spikes too. Very cool reference.
Do you have anything else in the works on the costume? The robe, etc. Or are you going one item at a time? If that is the case you could at least practice your "Imperious Leader sitting in his chair pose" (arms up - on the high armrests, all evil like )

Sorry for the delay... but here are the first pictures of the Imperious Leader throne as promised:
By the way: The original screen-used throne chair was sold by Profiles in History at their 21st Hollywood memorabilia auction in 2005 at the price of $1.000:

Yes, I'll wear it in the video which will be made after the costume is completed.
For the rest of the time, it will be mounted on a mannequin on the throne/pedestal display.
Thank you. I hope my replica costume will match the original as close as possible. The likeness of the mask wouldn't be very hard to achieve, because the screen-used one hasn't survived the past 30 yahrens... err... years... the previous owner of the costume should be ashamed of dealing so careless with such an high-priced collectible...
Again, here's what's left of the original facemask so all of you can share my mourning...
