How do you do your screen caps? Do you use software or actually capture the image on the screen? That image in the first post is much more clear than anything I've gotten off of my DVDs. And the reason I'm asking is that I've just noticed some details in that raider that I haven't seen anywhere else before. I'm going to go through mine and I might ask if you can do a shot or two of a specific scene if I can't get the clarity that I need. Is that ok? There's no rush. I probably won't get to it for several weeks anyway.
Happy to make caps if you need, just tell me which scene(s) that's cool. :salute:

I make mine by:
On my computer, play the DVD in Media Player at full screen. Then just push PrtScr when needed, swich over to PhotoShop and paste the cap into a new document - save as a .jpg at max quality (12). Could be the difference from yours to mine screen resolution ??? ... mine is 1900xsomething or another I forget... 1200 maybe (I'm not on my home computer now)? Whatever size the largest wallpapers I've made over in the art/media threads. (But the caps are a bit more narrow as BSG is a square ratio.)

Thanks for the info. That's basically what I do except that my resolution isn't as high (1st problem) and then I've been pasting into Microsoft Paint which doesn't handle high-quality jpegs well (2nd problem). I'll try pasting into photoshop and see if that helps. Thanks.

I hear you....

I went with out photoshop for a long time and you can actually do a lot with paint if you have to. It's super easy to use and fast. I can usually open the program, paste an image, resize, save and close before photoshop will even start up. Old habits die hard. :salute:

Here you'll find all the Raider photos I've previously saved from cloudster:

Very cool! I'm sure glad you saved those pics before the site went down!

I have identified two of the pics that need 'fixing'. Here is one of them, not only did I replace the missing bars, but I also healed the scratches on her cockpit louvers! :)
Gimp is such an AWESOME program! Especially since it's 100% FREE and can do evrything PhotoShop can, with a little time and work.

I'll work on the other one later.

Thanks very much!
Here are some additional Cylon Raider Screencaps... Taken directly from my 65" Mitsubishi and my modest Fujifilm Z33 - WP.
