Yes Jon the guy that runs the site over there asked me a while back, well 2 years ago if he could put that research up that I was supplying him with. His dates of operation and so forth were off. He also is using photos from my site, and in exchange he has tracked done some photos for me to post. He also found the VHS video tape for the Battle of Galactica. It was a souvenir that could be bought as the park in 1980 is what I was told, but if I recall the newer trams (the one in the tape) weren't released till 1984.

Universal wasn't selling VHS or Beta tapes at the studio tour shops in 1980 - MCA didn't even enter the pre-recorded videocassette market until very early 1981 as MCA Videocassette. Before that, the only way to get MCA-Universal programs on home video was on laserdisc, via their MCA DiscoVision label. They DID sell Super 8mm film of stuff though in the gift shops.

You might want to check the date of MCA Universal getting into reselling VHS. I had a Battlestar Galactica VHS tape I bought in April 1980 if not sooner. I recall it very well, I had just turned 18 and bought a VCR right after my birthday, and my 1st tape was Battlestar Galactica. I have the Laser Disc also, but as a souvenir. I never had a player.
