Baltar's existence with the cylons

As entertaining as Baltar's continued existence with the cylon empire is, realistically, this is most unlikely.

Considering the original imperious leader's decision to "wipe out all humans", along with the fact of his treacherous nature, it is doubtful that he would be allowed to live, let alone trust him with command of a powerful base star.

Also, the practicality of a human existing on a base star is questionable.
Cylons are completely artificial androids without a need for life supported conditions.
Consider these points;
Cylons don't need water, heat, food or Air.
I doubt that they would bother to go to the trouble of fitting out his quarters with a bed, shower and toilet!

If he was left alive as an adviser, he would probably be kept on an already colonised Cylon planet along with other humanoid slaves.
