Standard browser on desktop machines. I never use Tapatalk or any mobile shortcut versions. I even use standard browsers on my iPad.
It's like the link to the image gets lost after a while, especially when you modify the post multiple times for updates and corrections. I usually just host all my pics on ImgUr and post the remote links. Easier that way, especially if I want to use the same images on other boards.

I am using the site propers from my laptop computer when i upload a photo after the upload a box appears with the word error with a red line nothing else appears.

What browser are you using? The forum software we use is very mature and continually updated. Attachments are basic. There has to be a disconnect or permission blip somewhere we can track down to get things working better for you.

to add to this i have a medic pin made by 3d printing here is the closest match i have of the medic pin
