Hate to say, but I bought the unit sold by Hytechtoyz and not very happy with it and I'm sending it back. Hopefully I can get the VT3 system in the next few month's but until then I'll just have to stick with the mp3 player for now.

Thanks for the link.

The VT-3 sounds decent. Not great and not horrible. Made by Roland. Hmm...

But the price tag is a bit high. So I'll pass for now.

I buy alot of FX pedals for bass and guitar, the price is on the high side, but not too shocking. I saw some on ebay just yesterday in the $200 +range.

Watched some youtube demos and this sounds better than I originally thought. So now it's officially on my list. Can't quite tell if it goes low enough to do the command centurion though.

Could you share some links of the videos, please?

having looked at the video, i noticed that it looks like a mains run system, how easy or difficult would it be to use say via a battery system?, if it's possible?, i just wondered as it looks quite good but not sure how effective it would be to try and hide such a largish looking unit.

It's an fx pedal and most or all of them have both options… plug-in power supply or battery (usually 9 volt). I'm gonna put it in my centurion backpack. I'm sure it will fit.

Here are a couple generic demos (not particularly Cylon):

@Sabre6 - I just got one. With Bishop's help I should be walking and talking soon!
My power pack is on order, trying to figure out what type of mic to use too. What plans do you have for your setup?

Like Starbuck before me, I must repair the broken & mute Centurion so he may learn to play Pyramid with me... and also tidy up this dusty corner of the Basestar.
