I hear what you're saying. I even somewhat agree. I'm doing a Command Centurion so quotes are even less available, unless I lower the pitch of standard centurion quotes. :ugh: I have a pedal that gets me in the ballpark but it still needs something else.

Skirt arrived today. Glomesh in Aluminium. Think it's a pretty accurate style - ok colour is wrong but I may spray to gunmetal when it is ready.

Grab some chrome 3M tape to seam the helmet if you haven't done that yet. One inch wide is perfect.

A little gunmetal with a clear coat and the skirt will be awesome. :cylongold:

I am planning to do that now. The helmet shall be put together on the cold winter days in January. I'm looking forward to getting it working and fitting my head!

Today I completed soldering together my 32 LED eye scanner. It's looking amazing. I can't wait to get it fitted into the helmet. I need to consider where to fit the PCB is it is quite big. I can adjust the sweep and brightness. It's going to look awesome when fitted and working. :cylon:

Sounds great. I hope it works good. Do you have a video you can post before you mount it, and naturally after you mount it also.

Sure, it is here. There are two adjustments on the PCB. One for LED brightness and one for speed (both a variable resistor) It's quite a big PCB so it will need mounting maybe somewhere else in the costume with a ribbon cable for the LED's up to the helmet.

I think running a wire harness ribbon from the board up to the eye slot is the best approach.

After much work, the helmet is almost complete. Waiting for chrome tape and I need to pad the insides out for my head. Been an interesting learning experience.

Cylon helmets are always a fun learning curve project.
