These are a series of photos of the original Eagle Transport filming miniature. It was called the "Eagle" because it was built predominantly using parts from a Space: 1999 Eagle Transport model kit. Sadly, no other information exists about this model.

He did a really nice job with that. Looks dead on! I see a lot of Morser Karl parts in there too. Those Apogee guys really loved that kit for greebles. The TOS BSG has those things scattered all over it.

I really find it fascinating to discover more facts of these background ships after 35+ years...
Bet the model builders back then never thought anyone would care after filming was completed.
