Started working on some cylons. Trying my hand for the first build with EVA foam

Very cool build. Looking NICE.
Say, how did you attach the grill parts into the "mouth" opening? Is there a horse shoe shape backing of some sort?

His Iron Man is great. I too have done the Iron Patriot last year as posted in the pics. The grill parts in mouth are nothing but foam. each line is a separate piece and glued into place. Just waiting on my Larson scanners to arrive in the mail so I can finish the helmet

Larson scanner in helmet for testing. not the final product as I am currently building 2 cylons all out of EVA Foam and 1 Bender from Futurama. So it's slow going and I'm running out of time ... haha

More WD-40 for the Cylon he looks a little bit on the short side

Both helmets have been painted. However, I do not like the results. The foam does not bring out the shine at all. But this is what I will have to settle for at this point. Next build will be a non foam build.
