Heresy

So this may be heresy, but I thought Id post anyway.

I had been working on a Cylon ( the one I've wanted since I was 8) and my wife got ill. I was looking for a distraction for my boys who are huge fans of the Iron Man franchise and decided to put my Cylon on hold to build a foam Iron Man with my boys. It was a fun father/son project.

About 300 man hours later, voila.. IRON MAN

a year and half later my wife is on the mend so maybe now back to the cylon!

Has anyone attempted a foam build?

Glad your wife is getting better!
And, wow, tmi - you and your son created an A+ Iron Man! Great work.

There is no foam classic Cylon Centurion that I know of, no. You'll be the first... so it will be very interesting to see how you continue to work your magic in foam. Please keep us updated.

I am not alone! I'm working on a King Leonidas ( The 300) with my 9 year old which should go quickly since it's got limited parts. This helmet took the better part of a rainy day.

then back to the cylon!

Shouldn't be too far off of this one I hope.
