Loving these hi-res digital images w/ picture quality really making the details pop, even after over 35 years. This model really was well-done. John Dykstra should be proud of what he built.

The project to keep the restored Galactica back on the screen is moving along slowly, but moving. Some test footage of the shuttle was made over the weekend, and 4 different CGI artist have used some of the footage to make their own little version of what they like. It has been interesting from just a black screen, starfields, flying by other ships. ALl great stuff for poor quality HD footage. Professional grade quality Galactica footage will be available shortly, and then the fun begins.

Glad things are still progressing with this. The silence that has once again permeated the project seems to have pulled the wind out of the sails, especially with the sad passing of Glen Larson.
Interestingly, I may be in error, but it really looks as if some of last year's photoshoot was used for the TOS cover of the new "Battlestar Galactica Vault" book.

I have had other items on my plate that have taken a front, and center focus at the moment. GalactiCon 4 is the most notable item since it with a July deadline. I'll get back to this as time allows once G4 is in the rear view mirror.
