as you can see it needs a little trimming and filler but nothing too drastic

as you can see there is plenty of room for electronics and motors (failing that a cat with a flashlight...lol)

it needs some work but what kit doesn't

So COOL!
Thank you for the all the photos, gremlin :)
The figures are nice, you have quite The Black Hole collection now.

It looks great... and DANG... it is FULL of packing peanuts - I actually said "WOW" at iMB_0062... my in the other room asked "WHAT!?" lol

So what are your plans for it at this point?
Lights? Sounds, etc?

Yes I would like lights maybe a moterized head...not at that stage yet....at this point a cat with a flash light would do...well looks like some of the work I thought I would have to do I won't need to do....those sections get cut out with the replacement parts soon to be shipped...bill said this week. I will have to find my DVD and watch again.....I am thinking of replacing the tv monitor shape thing with a real tv monitor if I can fine one the proper size....I see the smaller ones all the time in thrift shops and they look about the correct size...let's see what I can dig up

Hummm... you might be able to bring V.I.N.CENT. into the new century with a tablet tucked inside the tummy? Then he can run apps!
You could even bring up ByYourCommand.net on him - lol :)

Love the idea with the tablet, and for a screensaver there should be the green bio pulse line as seen in the movie.

A cheap tablet is a great idea but sadly it won't work in this case do to a tablet screen is flat....it might be years sense you saw an old fashion TV set....lol but the tv tube is rounded and so is that part....so it has to be a old tv tube..but if I can find a very small laptop maybe I can hook that up......we will see..another way is to find access to a vacuform machine and make the curved part then have a tablet behind.....I don't know how that would look and the face plate would need to be altar clear and flaw free for it to even look good.......well bill said sometime this week the other box should be shipped so when I get it more pics to come...and throw those ideas at me....I'm good with macanical but electronics no so hot....

a newer old tv tube

I don't think it should be too hard to find a suitable vintage monitor.

Bill used this instead:

Oh, and when you're in touch with Bill, could you please ask him again about some reference photos of the original V.I.N.CENT. prop?
