I got my mannequin but I cant get his hands to fit through the gauntlet hole. I was thinking of just shaving down his thumb.

Can you take the mannequin apart at the elbow, wrist or shoulder? Maybe work it on backwards?

Cutting the thumb off is one way to do it, and others modes might be needed also. It is really no big deal to adjust it to fit, and if you over cut fiberglass the piece back on.

The mannequin comes apart at the shoulder but I cant fit an arm or even elbow through the gauntlet hole. It as small as a wrist especially with the padding inside of it.

Sounds like it's off with his hands!
Could you cut the entire hand off at the wrist? Then duct tape them back? Or add wood/metal rods to mount them back?

@Cylon-Knight that's probably the route I have to take. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue. Thanks for the tips!
