Didn't it eventually wind up in a trash heap after G1980? I somehow remember bits of it sticking out of a pile of junk on some other movie or TV show back in the 80's. Magnum PI maybe? I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure it was scuttled not long after. A crying shame if you ask me. It was beautifully built...

It ended up in broken pieces painted black and gray in a crash site. I forgot the show but Magnum doesn't ring a bell. It was spotted now and then in the back lot though out the 80's but never seen again after the 92 fire at Uni.

"Airwolf" was the show, the episode was called "Santini's Millions" (S02E15).

It was also seen very briefly during a chase scene at the Universal backlot in the "Knight Rider" episode "Fright Night" (S04E19):

THAT'S the one! Seeing it in its original glory and then that shot of the burned-out husk...
Really is horribly depressing to look at...

Wish the show would have been made today.
As a nice side effect, most of the props and costumes would be still around thanks to online auctions like PropWorx and such...

I suppose that's just the seat back, but the last photo looks like the Pope is sitting in the cockpit!
