Here's a link to the seamstresses' official entry for the brilliant Cylon undersuit she made:

By the way: The costume on the photo does have a very familiar look to it, don't you think?

Very nice
The undersuit has many latex parts.
Store you undersuit at a place without sunlight ( wardrobe )
so the latex parts will not change there color form dark grey into a very light grey.
If they do this one day, you can use latex care products to get your old color back.

Now there are four AWESOME looking Centurions
whooooooooooooooo
Paarexcellence - "is Cylon-Knight Mind Approved" - hands down.
(Thanks to Red Eye, once again, for finding such a wonderful artist who is not scared of Cylons!!)

...and I'm so grateful she wasn't afraid of doing such complex costumes (the Centurion undersuit & the IL-Series robes)!
She really knows her job!

So what's the concensus? Is Paarexcellence the best resource for an accurate undersuit these days? From what I see here it looks good. How was the pricing and communication? I will be getting the black version for a command centurion though.

The communication was excellent, even with customers over the big ocean!
Several members here got their undersuit from her.
Just shoot her an e-mail and ask if she can take another order.

Will-do. I am trying to drop a few pounds before I place the order for my under-suit. I will probably be closer to the end of the year. BTW, what is the price range for this under-suit? Thanks for the info.

When I ordered mine, it set me back approx. $1270.
But it could be less since she's worked on mutiple suits (I think she made 5 so far) after I placed the first order so she's got some experience on these things now.
Good luck!

Watch out my Cylon brother - it will cost more than Red Eye's, I'm sure.
Fabric costs.
Red Eye's was the first and paarexcellence accidentally under estimated things. She wanted to honor her bid and our V.I.P. got a deal. (And rightfully so! RED-EYE ROCKS!)
If you were looking for more along $800 she can "cut corners" ... leave out a few items to lower the cost. I am not sure if she can hit your exact dollar figure or not. Or you could work out payments to still get it all done over time. Or supply fabric. Just drop her a line and ask - she is wonderful to work with. Fingers crossed you'll be suited up soon.
The fabric she uses is a very close version of the originals. And the right color, but if you are going Commander you'll have all black on black and could probably supply her fabric much easier (no worries on color). Then you just get a 50% off coupon at Hobby Lobby or some fabric store ... or maybe sweet talk Santa Clause and ---BAM---

With the small community (vs the size of the 501st) and 36 year old found items unfortunately you'll run into that more on your build. Centurions trying to be extremely 1:1 have some shocking sticker prices... Don't tell the wife! I never did

Haha
