Hell week(s?)
Hello fellow Cylons,
This has been an awful past few days for the Cylon-Knights. LONG story short, I took Mrs. Cylon-Knight to the E.R. this past Thursday at 2 am. By noon she was in surprise emergency surgery. Each day since has been hell.
She had AWFUL abdominal pain and later we found out a small section of her small intestine had to removed and the two new ends reattached. Now a SLOW recovery with still no guess at a discharge date.
I have tried to post this up a few times the last few days from my phone, but have not had a good chunk of time till now. I wanted to let everyone know to keep us in your thoughts - and - why I will be slow to reply to any PMs or emails.
Mrs. Cylon-Knight is Cylon strong, but this is some fracked up stuff! All the meds, needles, pain, etc., etc.

John I am sorry to hear about this. How is she doing since the surgery? How are you holding up yourself? Everyone here at BYC wishes you and her the best, and a speedy recovery.

Both of you are in my thoughts. I hope you both get through this and she gets back home soon for a fast recovery. I been very sick myself. As I type this I'm bedridden. March is coming in like a lion, not just weather-wise.
I hope she will be in less pain each day and can come home soon.
I wish we could just build her a new body. Then she could transfer to it and never miss a beat! Actually they are working on that technology and other technologies to replace body parts that go bad. I been watching some of that lately and it's really amazing what they can do.

Re: Hell week(s?)
Thanks guys!
We are still in the Hospital and she is slowly improving. She got a tube up her nose, down her throat and into the stomach (attaceded to suction) finally out last night at 9:20pm. That has really improved her spirits.
Today is back pain from everything and the 4th or 5th IV flaking out. As I type she is finally getting a few bites of food - first since last Wednesday (which was all thrown up!)
As for me, Dale - I just am doing what it takes! Who needs sleep or food, huh?! I have to support and help all I can.

A few little bumps yet, but off the IVs - "graduated" to pills and soft foods. Thank you for all your support everyone!

Spray some WD40 on her, and all should be well. Then we stop by and pick you up off the floor after she decked you.
