cool. Like the tanker one a lot. Haven't seen that as a subject too much!

I'm thinking about scratchbuilding a tanker once ( comeplete a few kits I'm currently working on. I'd love to build one with a few hidden raiders in it's bays.

But when comparing it with the studio miniature, it's no error.

I think the concept behind that in this case is that there is no "upside-down" in space. The logos are oriented based on which side the raider chooses to refuel. If there is a refueling dock on the "underside" of the tanker, the raider would need to dock "upside-down" in order to latch on the refueling umbilical. The logos on that half of the tanker would then be considered in alignment with the lower-fueling raiders.

Just my guess.
