Post by Red Eye » Sat Aug 11, 2012 6:07 am

Carlo Rambaldi, who got famous for his visual effects work on "Close Encounters of the Third Kind", "Alien" & "E.T. - The Extraterrestrial" (just to name a few) has passed away at the age of 86.

A great loss indeed!

Now we'll probabply never know who really worked on the Imperious Leader back in 1978...

If I believe he was the artiest that Marcel Damen thought sculpted, but he won't admit to it.
A great artist that will be missed.

Sad to see such talent gone. His work in all the landmark films he worked on will live forever.
