Back Again.....

Post by NM Cylon » Thu May 31, 2012 1:01 pm

Hello Folks!

I had signed up back in January of 07 ( as C1-978) with hopes of putting together a Centurion outfit. I purchased a fiberglass one from down under and almost immediately was discouraged with it. As cool as it looked.....without chrome it looked shoddy! I searched high and low for someone who could chrome it and with no luck there I sold it!

As time went on I guess there was a site update and my password went away.

3 months ago I decided to get back on the wagon and I ordered a Kropserkel Centurion from Scott. I researched the pics from the site and of guys wearing them at cons and determined it looked like a good deal for me!

It arrived this morning......and to be honest I am blown away by the quality of the whole outfit. The only thing I would like to change out would be the skirt. Now I have not tried on the undersuit yet.....or put on the armor but when I do I will post my response. May take a couple days as I am working.

Anyways....Thanks for having the best resource around.....so much amazing info here with such knowledgeable participants!

Welcome - back! :)
Yes, the site was totally redone - bigger and better now! Same look and feel, but under the hood... zoooom! :sunglasses:
I see that your C1-978 membership is still here:
memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=97

Use it (reset your password) or continue with your new membership if you like. Either will work and let you join in on all the Cylon fun.

Good news you have a Krop. Looking forward to seeing pics and hearing more about it. What didn't you like about the skirt? Color/Size?

Welcome back aboard the Basestar!

You've bought your armor from Bentley O'Toole, right?

That's where I got mine from as well.

Welcome back. I'll review some of your older posts later to see if I recall who are with the exception of one question now. Do you work in the industry as a set designer in New Mexico? Also posted some photos of the house from Young Indiana Jones.

OK maybe that detail was off a bit, but still had the right guy down. Welcome back on board. Still working as a set property designer, or what ever the technical name is.

So....I did a trial fitting today!!

The sleeves on the undersuit was kind of long....the elbows sit right in the middle of my forearm. :frak: Hopefully an easy fix!

Other than that, I am pretty darn happy! Here are a couple pics:
