Hello everyone,
As many of you know I am working on Version 3 of my eye scanner controller. Please take a moment and vote for what features you want in the new version.
If the feature you want is not listed, please post and it will be considered.

Thanks

I put external speed because we all want to be Red eye or Cy once and a while and doa dramatic death. It could also be one of those body language things so people know when we are excited with a fast scan.

Are you suggesting a remote speed control or still have it on the PCB?

I kind of thought an external wire that can lead down to a button or such. It could toggle between a normal/ fast / or slow to stop sequence. Just ideas that may be fun

Thought I would give a small update.

The programming of the new V3 eye controller is in progress. The new controller at this time has external speed adjust and sound. I am having problems with the trailing effect when the speed is altered. After I debug the trailing problem, I will begin the button interface. At this time the planned button when pressed will activate the death eye (slow down and fade out).

The new light bar interface circuit allows LEDs or bulbs to be used and up to 24 Volts can be used for power.
Currently if you plan to use LEDs a 9 volt will work, If you want bulbs I recommend 12 volts using 8 AA battery cells.

We are looking at possible release of V3 in Aug 2012.

End Transmission....
